Very nice view everywhere in the small town. Many choices of restaurants and activities nearby. Supermarkets, souvenir shops, train terminal within walking distance. Our stay at the Grand Beau Rivage was incredible. The staff was wonderful, breakfast was excellent, and the location cannot be beat. Walking distance to the train station allowed us to easily explore the Jungfrau region with young children. Walking to the Harder Kulm funicular was a treat as well and overlooking the Aare River was breathtaking. Only "con" was the lack of air conditioning as we were there during a heat wave, but I'd gladly do it again for the opportunity to stay there. Open windows and fans made it manageable, but the experience overall was fantastic. Thank you to the staff!

Great property, great location, everything was perfect. I wish they had AC in the rooms. We went in summer. But they had a bedside fan which helps.

Great location, close enough to walk everywhere (flat). Staff were wonderful and the breakfast was one of the best we had across Europe.

Nice hotel with a 5 minute walk to train station. Beautiful view of river. Only downside was no air conditioner however they provided a fan which helped a little. Spa and pool were an added bonus.

Our stay was great.The staff was very friendly. They made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The hotel location is really good, with easy access to major attractions.Great views from the hotel room.
