Terrific location and willing to accommodate our travel needs.

Very nice hotel. Nice rooftop patio, balcony overlooking St. Charles, nice pool and garden room. My only complaint is they had no coffee packs the second morning! They had coffee in the garden room. A small complaint but scary - must have coffee at all times (mornings)! Would definitely stay again

Great stay . Home away from Home

The hotel itself was fine, location was great and I would give it a better review if it were not for the skillful way in which we were entrapped by the time share team. My fault for not catching other reviews that talked about it and my fault for not realizing immediately what was going on but I did not appreciate having to defend myself from signing up for something I wasn’t the least bit interested In.

Did not see in the booking that housekeeping “available upon request “. For the price paid, housekeeping should be automatically included. We are timeshare RCI owners, but this booking was through hotels.com, not RCI, which said there were no rooms available!!

The Avenue Plaza Resort is in a perfect spot for enjoying different areas of New Orleans conveniently, while enjoying a quiet neighborhood for sleep. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The price is reasonable. The room was nicely appointed, comfortable, and had a very useful kitchenette. Great for families with food allergies.

I REALLY ENJOYED MY STAY THERE. IT WAS VERY INVITING AND BEUTIFUL

The staff and facility exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived until we walked out the front door for our last time, everyone was cheerful, helpful and courteous. The rooms were great and I have never seen a fitness center as well equipped and clean anywhere else, and I have visited many places.

The area of the hotel is nice enough. The pictures of the pool area is deceiving - the pool is extremely tiny. I did not read any reviews or information prior to arrival that explained they only clean the rooms on checkout - these are rooms with kitchens in them, so food garbage, etc.... I am not a fussy traveler, I don't need mints on my pillow - but at least take the garbages out daily. Probably as a result of that policy, I woke up my first morning to a huge roach on the kitchen floor. I informed the desk, and was told they would clean thoroughly. Not only did this not happen, they didn't even record my complaint - when I went back to the desk that night, they had no record that I had an issue, and I wasn't even offered an option to change rooms. Based on the lack of service and the roaches, plus the sales pitches for their vacation club, I would not stay again.
