I was pretty disappointed with my stay at the Econo Lodge Pueblo North. When I checked in at around 5 pm on a Friday afternoon, the front desk attendant was rather curt and unpleasant. The beds had been made, but the shower/tub and vanity still had residual dirt/grime left on them - apparently not wiped down or cleaned. There was residual trash in the trash can. I was hoping to swim in the pool for a bit, but there was a couple there engaging in indecent public behavior. When I woke up the next morning to go for a short run, there was a sedan filled with 5 grown men sitting there in the parking lot with the car running. I went out to my vehicle a couple of times, and they just kept eyeing me. I have no idea of their intentions. Thankfully they left my vehicle alone. I don't recommend staying at this particular Econo Lodge location.

pros: convenient location, easy check in, friendly staff, clean, great water pressure, small indoor pool, reasonable price for quality - cons: bed was hard and uncomfortable, room smelled like old laundry; hallways were noisy at night, back parking lot was sketchy after dark, continental breakfast was waffles, couple cereals, and old stale bagels; pool was tiny and busy- only one chair to sit in if you didn’t swim. no hot tub

Not worth it

I have never stayed at a Econolodge, but it was cheap and I was tired. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and polite. We arrived at 2am, exhausted from our 13 hour drive. They charged $100 deposit but I didn’t get charged because we got in so late after check in we just needed a place to sleep. The room walls were dirty, it smelled musty when we walked in, bed sheets and cover had stains and it looked rundown and old in the room. Friendly staff but the room was not clean or up to date with allot of things.

There was black mold like things all over bathroom shower curtain and on the bath tub , there was stains like mold or something on the lamp covers , bed comforter had weird brown stains on them , only good thing is they let us check in very very early. Other than that just go somewhere else and spend ur money on something a little nicer

PREFERÍ PERDER EL DINERO QUE QUEDARME AQUÍ, HORRIBLE! para empezar cuando entré olía muy fuerte a cigarrillo cigarrillo, la señora del front desk se le dio por aparecer 15 minutos después de que llegamos luego de haber manejado ocho horas para hacer una parada en pueblo a las 9 de la noche; luego de esto la señora hizo el check in y nos dio nuestras tarjetas, cuando íbamos saliendo del front desk vimos cómo salían muchos insectos de un hueco en la pared pero seguíamos con la fe de que las habitaciones fueran como nos las mostraron aquí en las fotos entonces subimos (no hay elevador) ya arriba en camino a nuestra habitación una señora salió con tres pitbulls de su habitación y en cuanto nos vieron nos empezaron a ladrar, esperamos a que la mujer se los llevara para seguir hasta nuestra habitación (CABE ACLARAR QUE TODO EL HOTEL OLÍA SUPER FUERTE A LA ESENCIA DE LIMPIEZA PINALEN) como si quisieran ocultar el olor a humedad en la propiedad; cuando llegamos a la habitación: 1. Las sábanas eran rojas. (Algo anti-higiénico) 2. Ambas lámparas de la mesita de noche estaban rotas. 3. Los muebles estaban como rasgados. 4. La nevera estaba sucia. 5. Abrimos una de las gavetas y encontramos un chicle pegado en la esquina. 6. Las toallas estaban sucias (tenían como manchas) 7. Lo único que había era dos jabones en barra, uno en el baño y otro en el lava-manos. 8. Los alrededores del baño estaban negros. 9. Nos sentamos en la cama y parecía carton. 10. Puros marihuaneros en la zona.

Great location near food gas stations and the highway room is awesome very spacious has fridge and microwave in the room they also have free breakfast from 6 to 9 and the staff was great enjoyed my stay
