Poor maintenance/housekeeping. Our room had a leaky toilet all over the floor. In the morning when we left for the day, we mentioned it to the front desk. We got back & it looked better, but after a couple flushes, it leaked again. We mentioned it again the next morning. When we got back again, the entire back of the toilet was sitting on the floor next to the sink unknowing what the status was. At that point, they moved us to another room.
The 2nd room had a loose bathroom faucet and the shower door was difficult to close.
The 2nd room had no towels or bathmat. The 1st room only had 1 towel. Plus, the 1st room only had 1 hangar. when I had asked for more, they said they didn't have any but found one. The 2nd room had 6 hangars so it's clear they don't distribute evenly.
The staff was also not very helpful I asked a desk clerk for a local sports bar; He gave us directions to a shopping mall. I asked another if we were able to check out a day early and get refunded, She said yes. When I asked about my reservation from Expedia saying "no refunds" unless authorized by the hotel, she then realized I couldn't. She said I had to call 3rd party even though it clearly stated it was up to the local hotel. If I hadn't asked, we would've checked out and not get the refund she said we would get.
Breakfast was blah. No butter for toast. Coffee grounds in coffee and they wouldn't make more. No spray for waffle makers, so they would stick. Often out of hot foods, bread, muffins, etc.
