Incredible stay. You won't regret a thing.
This exceeded all expectations. I was concerned upon booking that the actual experience and rooms might be overhyped or a bit silly, but everything was just incredible. One of my best stays in Australia by far. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. You were receiving 5 star treatment throughout. The rooms are stunning and nothing beats opening the curtains at sunrise to 3 zebra walking by your patio. I felt transported to Africa. You won't regret booking it. The Zoo itself is truly unmissable and we enjoyed two days exploring it by car and bicycle. The animals are superbly treated and have enormous enclosures. 5 stars.

Excellent stay with the animals
Absolutely amazing stay. Excellent view of zoo animals from room. Staff were friendly and went beyond excellent to make stay enjoyable.comfortable room with great views. Included activities were amazing and made a more enjoyable stay. Excellent meals included. Every one should do this trip at least once in their life

Wonderful experience with very professional staff, accommodation is amazing. All meals fully catered and wonderful. Make sure you arrive at 2.00pm to make the most of your stay.

Highly recommend Zoofari lodges, upon arrival a warm welcome with a swift check in process, then shown to our magnificent tents, with everything required for our two night stay. Stylish with cosy bedding, heating, tea coffee's, bath robes, hot showers, etc. Amazing meals in morning and evenings in an intimate african style restaurant. Well informed tours and oustanding customer relations made us feel very welcome and looked after. We will definitely be returning!

Room was beautiful and the animals were much closer than expected. Dinner was great and chef catered for my individual needs though i would have liked the option of sitting with others. Breakfast was quite disappointing - pancakes were cold and not accompanied by fresh fruit as was noted on menu - excuse that there were many children who chose pancakes really didnt sit well with me.

Wonderful stay at Zoofari Lodge, Taronga Western Plains Zoo! Our stay exceeded our expectations. We loved being close to the Savannah animals grazing in front of our tent. The food is unique and superb and the staff friendly and helpful. The daily tours provided close up encounters with a number of animal species and staff were caring and knowledgeable! Highly recommend this stay and overall experience.

Incredible experience for the whole family
Amazing experience, can not recommend highly enough! The view from our patio of the animals was incredible - I have been on safari in Africa before, but this experience was just as incredible - and much easier with the kids in tow! The food was delicious, staff fantastic, and everyone we met so helpful and passionate about the work they do. They only thing I would say is it would be amazing if families with younger children could nominate a slightly earlier time for dinner and the start of the nighttime safari (appreciate this may not be possible given things need to work most of all for the animals) but the nighttime safari kicking off at 8pm made it a little tricky for some of our younger attendees to attend :) Overall though, incredible experience and one we will never forget! Thank you Taronga Western Plains Zoo.

We stayed in a lodge overlooking the Savannah and it was beautiful just to spend time watching the animals. The rooms were amazing and well kept, the guides were very knowledgeable. Grateful that such a place exists in NSW.
