Absolutely awful customer service

We showed up and the front desk lady said they canceled our reservation but no one had called us. She said “you should have received and email”. I looked and didn’t. I looked at my “itinerary” and it showed as still booked. She couldn’t help us at all and told us we had to call Expedia and Hotels.com. After 2 hours of being on the phone with hotels.com, we found a room, over an hour away and it was after midnight. The new hotel was not even close to the same rating or caliper of the one we booked and are extremely upset with Comfort Inn and their lack of customer service! It was 11pm and all they could say was we needed to talk to someone else and blamed it on someone else.

Nice room

The hotel overall was ok, a little worn down. But the room was nice, bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very small. Couldn't have 2 people in there getting ready. Loved that the bathroom mirror was somehow treated so that the center didn't steam up! Didn't like that what looked like transients were always in the lobby.

We arrived late in the evening but the room was very clean and nice . The bed was very comfortable. I loved the sheets. Breakfast was very good and the lady at the desk was very pleasant and helpful.

Horrible. My son found a pill on the floor next to fridge the second we walked into the room. Cobwebs in bathroom by shower. Pool empty and no notice given as to no pool.

Do not waste your money here

My 3 children and I took a family vacation to Saint Louis for spring break. I booked with Country Inn because of their pool being operational and complimentary breakfast. When we attempted to use the pool, we discovered there was no heat in the pool room so the water was about 50 degrees. We weren’t told of this at the check in so we found out the hard way. My kids were devastated because that’s why we chose the hotel. Another issue was that a staff member yelled at my children for eating too much of the complimentary breakfast. The third issue is, I requested housekeeping at the front desk since we needed fresh towels and sheets and the garbage taken but that did not happen either. Then upon check out, I left a note for the owner to please call me to discuss the issues.. that hasn’t happened as of now. I will never stay at this hotel again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.

It was okay.

It was just okay. Nothing to write home about and nothing that ruined our trip. The storm on the first night knocked out power and the windows leaked water, but the staff was quick to get us towels to prevent damage. They were excellent. Over all it was a decent place to stay.

My wife and daughter have been there two days for 2025 woman's state bowling tournament, and the hotel has been an absolute disaster. For two days they had NO HOT WATER! The blow dryer in their room didn't work. The dining area where they would eat breakfast was unclean! My wife took a picture and will share it with Expedia when we will request a full refund from this poorly run hotel. Check other reviews and you will find similar complaints.

Great customer service!

Trip was for childs birthday/medical. The young lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful at check in. The following night remembered it was my child's birthday and asked how their day was and what they got to do. Breakfast was good, quiet property, clean and maintained. Definitely would choose this hotel again.
