Never going back
I wasn't expecting 5 star accommodations but it could have been better. The online photos are dated because the furniture is showing wear and tear. My room cleanliness lacked attention to detail; on my final night I found stray hairs on the bathroom floor and the side of the toilet had old vomit; the latter I didn't see until I was checking out. Every time I left foe the day and returned to my room my key card wouldn't work. On my final night after 3 attempts to recode the card, I was told that the door lock needed repair and that if I needed to leave my room to call the front desk to let me back into my room, which would have basically left me stuck in my room without assistance to het back in. Lastly 2 men got into a verbal altercation in the hallway at midnight. When I called the front desk to report this and shared that I didn't feel safe, the front desk attendant sounded like he was too scared to come and address the issue. Another guest intervened after sharing that they were disrupting her sleep and she had to go to work in the morning, then the men stopped arguing. I don't think that the front desk attendant ever came upstairs to speak with those guests. I will never stay here again.

Clean, reasonable price, and friendly staff
I have been coming up to Springfield for the last 2 weeks for work. The staff here is very nice. The rooms were very clean. Very safe area, Walmart and target less than 100 yards away. I will continue staying here when I travel for work.

Piss poor service
Spent half the night dealing with a smoker around our room. Went to the front desk to let them know and they did absolutely nothing about it. We ended up sleeping with the window cracked open and towels at the base of the door.

The only complaint I have is that I was there for a whole week and constantly there were kids running down the halls late at night. And whoever was in the room by me was wrestling or fighting it sounded like someone was thrown into the wall. It was so hard that the dresser drawers came shooting out

Interesting stay
The hotel was moderately clean. The room was decent however, upon walking into the bathroom, it smelled like someone had smoked and entire pack of cigarettes with the shower running. The hotel is extremely dated but I suppose you get what you pay for.

Bed Bugs
Check in was fine and front desk was fine. Got up to the room and the light switches were filthy- didn’t feel clean and smelled like a dive bar. This prompted my daughter to check the mattress and it was covered with bed bug remnants and pupae. Checked the other mattress and it was worse. We went to cancel and go somewhere else and they refunded the price of the rooms without any trouble. We did show pictures of the rooms.

In town to visit Not a 4 star hotel and it’s pretty old Cracks in the ceiling, bathtub broken and dingy. However, for a place to lay your head it works. Felt safe while there.

Friendly staff, disgusting bathrooms
Positives: - Friendly staff - Decent continental breakfast - Clean bedroom area Negative: - Bathroom was filthy. (Toilet seat and shower weren't cleaned. Shower had hair in it from last guests). Could not upload a picture but available if necessary. - coffee maker did not work
