Nice place to stay in Key Largo

Nice motel with a variety of amenities - 2 water bottles in room daily, bikes & paddle boards on site to use, access to pool & bay with lots of outdoor seating. Unfortunately only 5 rooms have a view of bay. Starbucks Keurig in lobby makes great chai latte! Appreciated recommendations for dining when we arrived, Snook’s restaurant is right next-door and is a good/convenient choice for dining. Main issue was that when reservations were made hotels.com offered option to pay at resort but apparently hotel requires first day payment as a deposit so my card was charged even though I selected pay at resort. Also some confusion regarding payment of resort fee which hotels.com showed as included in my total balance. Found it odd that hotel did not have any of our contact information. Usually when I reserve on hotels.com I also get an email confirming from the hotel itself. Need better coordination between hotels.com/expedia and hotel.

Local getaway

Beds were comfortable, room smelled very clean on check-in. Staff was around every day and always friendly and willing to help. We had a great time and would definitely stay again. We couldn’t have asked for a better staycation within 2 hours from home. If I were giving points it would 4.9 out of 5.

Bayside Paradise

The woman at reception ( T.J. Gagle) was a delight, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She was fun to chat with. I also enjoyed the Starbucks machine in the lobby. The housekeeping staff was great and the location was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the sunsets over Florida Bay. I almost forgot but I really liked the chickens here and all over the Keys. We will be back.

Familjärt boende för alla åldrar

Väldigt mysigt ställe med det lilla extra i form av kaffe från starbucks. Vi uppskattade det lite starkare kaffet. Trevlig personal som gärna hjälper till med frågor. flertalet leksaker på området att sysselsätta sig med. Härligt med hotellets SUP-brädor att åka ut med och ligga och sola på eller paddla iväg på. Mycket mygg på morgon och kväll så spray hjälper då. Tillräckligt med solstolar/bäddar för alla under sommarmånader.

Good location, poor service and maintenance

The hotel is in a fantastic location — definitely its strongest point. However, the overall experience was disappointing due to poor cleanliness and subpar service. One of the most frustrating issues was that our room was not cleaned. They claimed it was because we had the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door at 10 a.m., but that doesn’t justify not returning later to clean the room as they should have. When I went down to request towels, they took a long time to bring them. Additionally, the pool bathrooms were in unacceptable condition: dirty, uncleaned, and without toilet paper. It’s a shame because the hotel has great potential thanks to its location, but it’s clearly being neglected. I wouldn’t recommend it unless they significantly improve their cleanliness and service standards.
