4/10 Fair

The place was very run down. Carpet had stains all over it. Paint and sealant was flakey around shower and bathroom fixtures. Not sure how it has a 7.6 rating on Hotels.com.

4/10 Fair

The room we had smelled so bad. The carpet was stained, the restroom was “cleaned” there was a hair in the toilet and the bath tub was just dirty. The fridge had vinegar smell. Check in people were nice but the hotel no.

It’s not very luxurious but we enjoyed our stay and the drive to main street and most wineries and breweries was not long at all!

Weather was good except one day that it rained and there was nothing to do. Fredricksburg is a beautiful place to come . Going home with lots of antiques.
Patricia, 3-night trip

Great stay!

Great hotel. The price was amazing! The beds were very comfortable.
Kyle, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

It's nothing at all fancy. It's very old and outdated. The carpet smells like stinky Fritos or feet. The TV did not even work.... but......on a positive note. Staff was friendly. Beds were comfy. Showers were great. Shopping and eatery's were close. We felt safe. It's just super old! Good for just resting.
Prescilia, 1-night trip

Very clean and affordable!
Margie, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Nice for what it is. Would go back here. Breakfast is just right.
Jakob, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Pictures are deceiving

If it were updated and the walls and floors didn’t look so bad, and there was no mold, it would have been a more comfortable stay. Don’t let the pictures fool you!
Lauren, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

They could offer a better breakfast.
John, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Extremely nice front desk lady. Good simple breakfast.
Gerardo, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and being conveniently located to areas of interest. Bed was comfortable and the AC worked well and was quiet.
Sheila, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The room was good, we weren't looking for 5-Star service. We received a towel, when we requested room service, which had black stains on it, and could not use it. The water temperature was not steady, seemed to go cold/hot, unsteady. The TV's were difficult to operate with several remotes and no directions for any of them. We used the coffee and when towels and trash were removed/exchanged, the coffee was not replenished? The service seemed to be minimal, at best.
