Clean room!

The breakfast was lacking fresh food. It was hard to find hot coffee in the morning at 8am. There were no staff available to ask for coffee. Housekeeping staff were loading their carts with fresh linen from the laundry room. I had to walk around them to find the breakfast area. I had to go to the lobby in search of coffee. The room was an average room and everything was very clean.

Bad show, Country Inn.

Note to self- avoid hotels in close proximity to a water park, especially if overpriced. I generally like Country Inn offerings. Not this one. Room ok though some ragged furniture. Bathroom could use a freshening. Convenient to highway and lot of food options nearby. We liked the craft brewpub a short distance away. Our room overlooked a very active and noisy indoor pool. Pool closed at 10 pm and thankfully it was quiet just a few minutes after 10. But hallways active with kids being ignored by lazy parents, plus a family with loud mother checked in around midnight. Unbelievable how ignorant they were.

Friendly and professional staff. Breakfast was very good and the staff kept the breakfast area very clean and the food filled. Older building but the hotel was what we wanted and the pool was very warm and fun for children.

Hotel pool area is in horrible shape. Wallboard crumbly, paint peeling, dirty. Told front desk clerk how dirty pool was. He was in my opinion snarky about it. Back door to the hotel did not open with the key card. Had to walk around to get in. In my opinion, Hotel construction is such that you can hear everything from the room above you. Walking, talking, etc... Had kids above us that were up all night running and jumping and carrying on. Called front desk. They settled them down for a while but it didn't stop completely. Would not stay there again.

Train Wreck Hotel

They allow people to come off the street to use the pool area and other common areas. The hotel appears to have no maintenance crew or security. So many areas of the hotel lack attention and up keep. Locals know they can take advantage of the property and front desk is either complacent or powerless to do anything about.Kisd yelling thru the hallways. Broken glass bottles and drug paraphilia litter the walking paths and wheelchair ramps to the parking lot. Stayed only 1 night of our 2 night booking. Not at all worth the rate paid for a Saturday night. D minus rating, only because front desk was polite and helpful. DON'T BOOK if you have kids. 😢👎🛌
