Small but convenient. And well located.

Great location for our requirements, the staff were very considerate to our needs. Breakfast was disappointing and over rated.

8/10 Very good

Staff friendly and welcoming. Room was a bit too hot, however it's an old building and it is summer so perhaps understandable. Slept well otherwise.

Breakfast is good and cafe staffs are kindly and helpful. Area outside the hotel is clean and safe. Really convenience near Tube and bus stop. But the room interior facilities is old and broke.

Great place to stay, lovely new rooms with homely comforts
Gavin, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Property was fantastic for a stay after flight from Australia. Water pressure in shower was not great but on 4th floor and in London so we were doing well having water! No power point in bathroom for hair dryer/ styling and mirror in bedroom too far away from plug to dry in view of mirror. Other bathroom han is hat seriously comfy bed and lovely staff and continental breakfast.

Shame

Room was tiny, fitting were broken and no air conditioning on the hottest day of the year
Geoff, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Central location for Paddington Station.

Central to what we needed. Decoration beautiful throughout. Room was compact but we had what we needed. Only issue, it was very hot, not much ventilation, only a fan to move the heat around.
Patricia, 2-night trip

Service was good, room was ok, glass door to the bathroom that was too small for the frame?
Lee, 1-night trip

Location brilliant! Everything else questionable

Location is excellent, close to Paddington and Hyde park. That I can’t fault. Rooms however are very small and stuffy with very small beds. My partner and I had a basement room and the window opened fully though it did little to help. An overpowering bleach smell in the room suggestive of thorough cleaning but the bed was still grubby. Rooms are not sound proof and we were disturbed multiple times in the night. Staff let us drop out bag off in the morning before check in but check out took a little longer than necessary as the man on check in desk was outside having a cigarette and not watching to see if guests were waiting. Did not have breakfast as gluten free options were not clear and there were loads of options close by. Is this hotel worth the price? Probably not, pay and extra £10-20 and stay somewhere else.

Very basic and run down hotel. No aircon or ventilation, very varm and damp rooms. The bed was missing bed topper so you could feel the spring / spring box. Pillows and duvet felt really low quality and not comfortable. Breakfast was sad and poor produce quality. The had maintenance during our stay and the water was turn off between 10 pm and 5 pm, which we weren’t informed about until arrival.
Frida, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The room was comfortable and it was within easy distance to a tube station. The mattress was a bit hard, but the room was otherwise comfortable
Nigel, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly. The bathroom light was on a sensor. The wall between the bedroom and bathroom was transparent. The light kept on going on and off all night even though we were in bed. It had a mind of its own. It would light up the bedroom like it was daytime. Very annoying. Front desk said they were working on getting it fixed. For this reason I would not recommend this hotel.
Elaine, 2-night trip

Matress was hard with no pillow top or matress pad. The sheets and pillows were super comfy
Paul, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

Broken shower. No manager. Avoid this hotel!

Stayed August 8–10, 2025 — one of the worst hotel experiences ever. Our shower blasted only scalding hot water, making it unusable. The front desk said the manager was “unreachable over the weekend” and nothing could be fixed. We were offered to use a different room’s shower on another floor. Felt like a college dorm! Our room was on the 5th floor, but the lift only went to the 4th, so we had to drag heavy luggage up stairs. No offer to move us to a functioning room on a proper floor. The only “compensation” was one extra hour for checkout. After our stay, I emailed the hotel — no response. When I called a few days later, I was told the manager “comes in when he wants,” maybe once a week. That says it all about how this place is run. Terrible service, broken facilities, and zero accountability. The only good thing about this place is the location, walking distance from two underground stations and Kensington gardens. Spend your money elsewhere.
Karen, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

No AC was a bummer. The bathroom was a bit dirty when we arrived.
Lauren, 1-night trip

The hotel is lovely just the double bed was tiny, the room was tiny and the room was so hot we could not sleep. The shower wasn’t great too. Decor wise the hotel was good just far too small and too hot and the breakfast was super busy and hard to enjoy with so many people crowing around you.
Christopher, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Rooms were very hot will minimal airflow and the first room I had did not smell the best and was scruffy. Fortunately, they moved me to a better room and was tidy, with no smell.
Phillip, 3-night trip

Basic

No air con in the room, we were given a tiny fan which as really noisy. Scraping chairs above our room. The breakfast room was tiny and not enough room to sit down as too many people.
