Filthy and run down
It was the most filthiest place I've ever stayed at. Like living in a third world country. Hugs all over the place carpet not clean. Carpet was very sticky room smelled it was disgusting.

The room had dead flies on the ceiling. Dead and live roaches in the mini fridge and microwave. The towels had been washed but still had dirt stains on them. Spider webs in the room. The microwave was old and rusted. Over all the place needs a full remodel or people who will clean the rooms correctly.

Upon arrival female staff tried to put me in the hotel across the street as she sold out my king room that I paid in advance for. She offered me a double bed smoking room that I refused to take as I don’t smoke, I dare not to smell like smoke. Then the room she put me in room 254 had no bath towels or nothing in it and it was dirty. The tub was filthy with stains and a ring around it, the toilet wouldn’t flush properly, the air conditioner top frame was missing and had old food and trash stuck in it, the refrigerator was plugged up and did not work at all and smelled, I seen a roach crawling under the refrigerator, the green bed spread had stains on it from previous uses, the walls and ceiling is dirty, and the front door as the door been kicked from the inside, the top lock on door is broke, this place is a mess and needs to be shut down. If I was Expedia I would stop contracting with them and take their motels off your list as the property needs to be condemned. People stop paying your money as the foreign staff wants to give you what they want you to have, instead of what you paid for. The female staff talking about the price is the same for double or king. I booked what I booked and expected that. She had the nerve to tell me to calm down and lower my voice. I will never stay there or there burned down place across the street. If I could give them a negative- 5 star the sure earned it and deserved it.

We reserved a king bed 6 weeks in advance. When we arrived, they said no single bed rooms were available. We looked at a two bed room but it was dirty and smelled like mold. We ended up going to a quality inn down the street. The proprietors were rude.

A Hot Disgusting Mess
The first one that I was given was not clean. The beds weren’t made and there was a dirty towel in the bathroom at which that was completely disgusting. The tub had hair on it. I requested another room and that room was a little better. The beds were made. The air conditioning did not work in my room and the room another relative was in. It literally was a hot mess. The floors and the bathroom were again disgusting. Not to mention the air/heating unit was held up by an iron propped underneath it. I understand this motel is cheap, but no effort has been put into improving anything. You get what you pay for. I only stayed because they were the only hotel in town that had availability. 1st and last time though.

The unit was hanging out once I removed the iron.

The room was beyond disgusting. We delt with it because we were fishing the Roanoke River and they were only 6 minutes away from the pier, however, it was a terrible experience. Check in was limited to some weird teller window area, the front desk staff was not friendly, they have a pool on the property that is inoperable because of the amount of trash thrown into it, the room had roaches and I had to ask for towels because they weren't provided. It's safe to stay that I will never stay there again or any other OYO hotel.

Save your money, go elsewhere...
I had hoped my stay would have been better. No dead bolts or any additional locks on the door (only the one in the handle) all others were broken off, peep hole smashed. No phones. Stained & cigarette burned bedding. I was put in a smoking room when I asked for non smoking. Bugs in bathroom, BR door laminate coming apart. Rust dripped from shower head while I showered. Shower faucet had a kitchen faucet handle as the controller sticking from it. Never saw a shower faucet like that. Neighbors had a BBQ in front of both our doors complete with stereo on full blast (next to my door). Nothing said by mgmt until I complained. No problem with the BBQ though but the noise was my issue. I complained 2 times, 1st time I asked to be moved, I knew the noise would not stop. Mgmt said no. Last complaint was 2am. Each time I had to walk to the office since there were no phones in the room. Music played till 6am next morning. Yes it was that loud even when they went back into their room. I felt like I was back in my old apartment from 20 yrs ago. I chose this hotel because I had 0 sleep in the last 24 hours. I got very little sleep at this place. Parking was a very big problem. 2 buildings with 1 being a 2 story. No parking behind either building. You had to park between both buildings but against the 1 story building. Don't know what they would do if the entire 2 story building was rented out or even the 1 story for that matter. it was a very weird set up. Kind of felt unsafe here.

This hotel was AWFUL!! Spiderwebs met me at the entry way into my hotel room. Th waits and bed was dirty, not suitable for anyone to sit on more than sleep on. TV wasn’t working & there was no phone available. Room also smelled of mildew!!! FILTHY & NASTY!!!!

Please do not stay at this property. The thieves they try to charge more than what they swipe your card for. It’s dirty is disgusting. The only reason why I had to stay. There is because all the rooms were booked because of the event that was in town, and I tried and tried, and could not find anything decent, the place is horrible. People were fighting over my head all night. A baby was screaming because they were fighting the place is disgusting roaches all kinds of bugs in the room. I had to keep everything in my car and only bring in what I was going to use that day. I had to go to Walmart and buy sheets. The place is disgusting. I wanted to take pictures, but the manager watches everything like you wanna steal or wreck something that’s already wrecked. They had clothes hanging out on the pool fence the pool with this gusting like it is not in use, but why keep the water in there with garbage floating on top of it

Horrible and dirty and terrifying
I am so upset😡. The pictures on hotel.com page is NOTHING LIKE THE PLACE ! Cigarette holes in the bed spreads, ROACHES CRAWLING ALL NIGHT, MY HUSBAND STAYED UP KILLING THEM, RUST AND FILTH IN THE MICROWAVE, ROACHES CRAWLING OUT THE COFFEE MAKER, TOILET PAPER DISPENSER CAME OUT THE WALL, HUGE WATER SPOTS IN CEILING, CARPET FILTHY, DRAWER FILTHY, BED FRAME OUTSIDE OUR WINDOW THE WHOLE STAY, SCARED TO GO TO SLEEP BECAUSE OF ROACHES CRAWLING ON US, WE CHECKED OUT EARLY WE HAD NO REST BATHROOM DOOR SPLENTED , I REALLY WANT A REFUND BECAUSE THE PICTURES ON YOUR SIGHT WERE FALSE !!!!! HOW CAN YOU ADVERTISE THIS PLACE IT IS HORRIFYING !!!!!! And no phones in the rooms, tub filthy and mirror…….😡 WE WASTED OUR MONEY AND A SHORT TIME AWAY CUT SHORT WITH PLACE TO GO😔
