Beautiful views

The Kathryn was an amazing stay! Our stay included free cookies and free salmon chowder after 5pm. We were happy with our room and the view was downright beautiful. Our small private balcony was right on the water. The breakfast was top tier and everything was clean but the shower had some mildew and we could smell it every time we walked in. Overall we’re happy with our stay! Another side note is there was no smoking or vaping anywhere on the property.

I highly recommend!

Excellent choice for friends and family. It was so quiet and relaxing, granted we were there on a Sunday night. Beautiful views of mountains and the river, I had so much fun taking pictures for my Instagram here :) The breakfast is really good for being free. I liked the snacks and the refresher drinks that they had ready for the guests; not too many hotels do that these days. The staffs are very pleasant. The pool was under renovation but didn’t bother us because we’d rather go for a walk to the beach anyway.

Breakfast was scarce, rooms were small and not stocked properly like 2 towels for an entire family. I had to ask the front desk for towels numerous times when we were in the pool area. We never had our room cleaned or even offered to be cleaned. Not worth the extra money I spent to stay at a "nice" place. The only positive was the distance to Broadway.

What an outstanding place to stay!! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! I mentioned that we were there to celebrate my wife’s birthday and, lo and behold, there was a bottle of sparkling cider on ice, a birthday card and some of my wife’s favourite chocolates! My late in-laws used to stay here every time they came to Seaside. My wife and I will be continuing the tradition! Thank you for the wonderful stay!!

Solo road trip!

Hotel is wonderful right on the Main Street where you will find shopping and restaurants of all kinds. And the beach is within walking distance. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very welcoming staff

Room was very clean. The bed wasn't as comfortable as we had hoped, but it is difficult sleeping in a different place. Hotel offered hot breakfast. Food was good. The woman who handled the cooking and service did an awesome job. It's a lot of work! We needed summer extra towels. Front desk personnel were very helpful. Hotel offered smoked salmon chowder at 5 pm every evening. Delicious.

Really love this place, location is great, love the the view from the bedroom balcony, free breakfast and chowder in the evening are good and the rooms are nice. Only suggestions I have is to clean the hot tub and pool more and to increase the temp of the sauna. Those are some of the amenities that we look for when booking hotels and use them every day were on vacation. The hot tub needs a good scrubbing. You don't realize how dirty it looks until the bubbles stop. Yuck. Other than that the place really is fantastic.

While the location and the staff were great, these rooms need a deep clean and some maintenance for sure. Found half eaten candy at the edge of the bed. There were cobwebs in the corners and many areas just needed a good scrub brush. The carpet that comes up to the wall and up was falling off and there were too many holes in the wall paper to count.
