Just small concerns
I usually don’t provide any input on these, but maybe it could help to make things better for you. Upon arrival to my room, I noticed that the smoke alarm was missing and the wires were protruding from the ceiling. The remote control of the television did not function, and it appears that the construction on the bathtub was placed incorrectly because I could feel the bathtub sink somehow onto the level of the floor. The dispensers in the shower for the hair conditioner was empty.

It’s not the standards of the hyatt
Hyatt Place Tucson Airport, was not even close to the standards of the Hyatt brand names. We stayed from February 16th to the 19th. It was a very poor stay. There advertisement claims they have 2 pools and a hot tub, which they did not have. You are recommend to go to their sister hotel down the street. For my grandchildren to be going to another hotel just to go swimming and play in the there so called accommodations was not going to happen. The rooms were not clean, when we checked in. They had hair in the bathroom floors and on the shower curtain. The breakfast consisted of frozen egg omelette, Hash browns, and cold coffee. It was such a big disappointment. We had no room service even though I ask for a light service to be done. The head manager of housekeeping, said they only change towels and throw out the trash cans, which was not done. I right this review, so that people can be aware and make a decision were you will be paying your hard earned money to stay. Family of four 2 adults 2 children age 9 and 10. February 19th 2025

Horrible hotel
Do not waste your money on this hotel. This is not a Hyatt hotel and there is no way this has an 8 star rating hotel. There were several days during our stay that were didn’t have water to shower or even wash your hands. We notified the hotel several times and they did nothing. Every time you flushed the toilet, sewer water would come out from the bottom of the toilet. Talk about unsanitary conditions, again reported to hotel management they did nothing. We bought food to keep in the refrigerator in the room, it froze all of our food. There were also mouse traps under the air conditioner, mind you, we were on the 5th floor! We asked for a partial refund from this hotel and they refused to give us one after all the issues with this hotel. Again, this is NOT a Hyatt, don’t let them fool you!!!

Be careful !
The room was cleaned for 4 days straight in a 10 day trip despite asking and reminding twice. In the end decided to check out a day early. My companion had bed bug bites all over his body and i suffered severe allergy due unhygienic conditons.

Took awhile for the clerk to check us in. Room was spacious but very dated, hotel seemed dated. There was a dresser but it was in the closet and couldn’t open drawers be/c of closet slider door. That was just stupid. Would not stay there again unless they had a major renovation.

Ugh...
When I first walked into the hotel, there was an alarm going off, the tv in the corner was glitching, there was no one behind the desk and the two guest that were sitting there said the hotel person had just left in the shuttle to pick a party up from the airport. It was the most bizarre hotel experience of my life. I would have walked out, but I was so tired from trip I waited and the hotel staff were actually really nice and trying to make it happen. Then my shower had no heat the first day, the toilet ran the whole time I was there and the water just cut off on my second day. It was a bad scene.

Where has all the good service gone?
No one at front desk on Friday night @ 8:30. waited half hour. Finally someone came and checked me in. Key did not work when I get to room. No hot water that evening and wanted to shower. Thankfully that was fixed by morning. Cleanliness ok. Hotel has gone downhill. Where has all the good service gone? I am starting to think Airbnbs are the way to go. Hotel prices are now comparable.

Our room was quite comfortable. Very neat and clean. The bath accessories could be improved. No soap at the sink, one wash cloth and two small towels. For women with long hair, two towels and one wash cloth per person would be appreciated. Breakfast was good. Had a dish of potatoes with chorizo. Excellent & very nice change from the usual.

The room was in need of updating. The fridge froze everything no matter what setting it was on, the room was stocked without an ice bucket, the toilet wasn’t flushing properly—I had to go into the tank and fix it. They were in the process of making changes, so it may be that things improve soon.

Wait for room to be ready.
The stay was pleasant except that we had to wait more than an hour to check in. We had a reservations and arrived at 4:30 p.m., but the room wasn't ready until after 5:30 p.m. There was a long line of guests in the same predicament.
