Disappointing experience

It was a very disappointing experience. There were many problems with the room. The sink seemed clogged and water couldn’t be drained smoothly. The fan could not turn around. The most unacceptable thing was that the rubbish bin was not emptied yet. There was still rubbish inside! I reported the problems to the staff and he changed another room for me

Dated hotel but comfortable room. Some toiletries are no longer provided which is not reflected in the in-room booklet and sub-standard in my opinion. No air con in the room but there is a small fan. Only reason to come back would be for the sea view which is beautiful on a sunny day. For breakfast, I would recommend heading to the cafe just outside on the beach if weather allows.

Great stay

Great! Lovely friendly staff with a genuinely warm welcome. I could tell that the staff in the restaurant knew some of the clientele from their stay by their conversations. Im sure it's those personal touches that make a difference when choosing a hotel. In my experience Best Western are great at choosing the the right staff that give great customer care.

The staff were nice it was clean but very dated old building. Noisy as room was above the restaurant was a lot of money for the room size and condition no air conditioning. ! Extra for breakfast most hotels that price include breakfast.

Udsigt til strand og hav.

Fint hotel med udsigt til strand og hav. Værelset var rummeligt og med sidde arrangement med havudsigt. Hotellet ligger på vejen langs standen. Der er en del trafik men ikke noget der generede på værelset. Morgenmaden der var inklusiv var til den kedelige side, men mod ekstra betaling tilbydes varme retter lavet på bestilling.

Perfect for a Romantic Getaway!

It was our first stay here we usually go for AirB &Bs in Brighton town centre. We chose here because of its location for the Glorious Day Festival and it was ideal. We opted for a sea view room which did not disappoint, we stayed up late watching the sun go down and the sky changing colour, sheer bliss and very romantic. The beach is literally across the road and there are so many great places to eat out within easy walking distance. If you get there early enough there is parking onsite it can be tricky getting in and out of here but least it's an option. The staff were amazing and so helpful and we even got checked in an hour earlier which was a result. I want to say thank you to Jan (that was her name I think - the blond head receptionist/ manager maybe was brill. Also the young brunette receptionist in the evening when we returned from our meal deserves an acknowledgment too, she helped with our checking out choices. We will definitely return and it's worth paying extra for the glorious sea view- just book it! :))
