Needs improvement. Showers each morning were unable to maintain hot water. It took 5 minutes to get there, then alternated between okay and uncomfortably cool. I asked about changing, but I was unable to switch rooms since I couldn't be there during the day after the rooms had been serviced to move. The bed was too soft, a bit hollow in the middle. The TV, with limited channels to begin with, had about 10 of them with listings showing but no signal; they called their cable provider but it was never resolved. Breakfast was just okay; they didn't even have a working juice dispenser for a couple of days. Laundry machines didn't take coins, just phone apps for payment, so I didn't do laundry there.
And a final note to Wyndham, owners of La Quinta: while I'm a Wyndham Rewards member with a large number of stays, I booked this through Hotels.com despite the fact that hotels.com's new rewards system is now inferior to that of the major chains. Why? The hotels.com rate was lower than my Wyndham member rate.
