I’ve traveled quite a bit, but this was one of the strangest hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
First, my reservation was for 5 nights . On the very first day, I asked the receptionist if I could extend my stay by two more nights. She said she couldn’t help me then, and that I should come back on tomorrow when the manager would be available—and promised a good discount since I was already a guest. Sounds fair enough… but that was the last normal thing that happened.
After an 8-hour flight, I was exhausted. I had to wait until 3 PM to get the key to my room, and when I finally got in—surprise! It was the WRONG room. I walked in on a nearly naked woman and a man having a conversation. It was so awkward and bizarre—I froze. Didn’t know whether to apologize or run! Went back to reception to report it, and the response I got was, “Did they scream?” Seriously?! Not the time for jokes.
A few days later, I followed up with the manager about extending my stay. Remember the “good discount”? Well, he quoted me 40% more for 2 nights—way more than what I saw online. I ended up rebooking through Expedia instead of accepting their “special offer.”
Also worth mentioning: the breakfast was the exact same every single day. No variety at all.
Honestly, the whole experience felt like a prank show. Never staying here again.
