I’ve stayed in several Radisson hotels before and was always impressed by their quality and professionalism. Unfortunately, this property is far below the standard I’ve come to expect from Radisson.
Positive note:
The location is excellent – central, convenient, and perfect for exploring London.
However, that’s where the positives end.
We booked for one week. The room provided did not match the description: instead of two separate beds, we received one 1.60 m bed, even though I had clearly requested twin beds as I was travelling with my 18-year-old daughter.
Upon entering, we were greeted by a strong, musty smell. The windows cannot be opened, and the air circulation relies on a noisy fan. The room was dark and visibly dirty – dust in the corners, stains on the carpet, sticky switches, and an overall neglected impression.
The bathroom was in poor condition. The bathtub drain was clogged, and whenever the neighbours showered, dirty water and hair came back up through our drain. Lighting throughout the room is very dim, which makes the atmosphere even more unpleasant.
Service and reception:
The reception staff were polite but seemed overwhelmed. When we mentioned the condition of the room, the response was superficial, and a room change was denied due to “full occupancy.” There was no real apology or solution offered.
Cleanliness & maintenance:
Not only the room but also the hallways and elevators appeared worn and poorly maintained. Stained carpets, scratched walls, loose sock
