It was okay...
While this is surely a kids friendly hotel the pool was wayyyy beyond capacity (45 max as shown at check in). The manager at the front desk had a terrible attitude and made checking in a real pain! I was charged $100 per room for deposit even though it states $50. Breakfast was great as always and the rooms are nice

1 it was the worst stay that I've ever had at your establishment. I've been coming for years and this time was much different. The staff was very friendly, but unfortunately, the amenities were not. I had a handicap person with us and there was only one working elevator on top of that it was my seven year old granddaughter's birthday and she couldn't even swim in the pool because it was absolutely disgusting. The next morning We woke up and it took a while while they were getting the pool together, so we only got one hour of swimming in and that was the whole point of our stay. I also did not feel very safe. There was fights downstairs and the fire alarm was pulled I believe twice. After that, we were informed that we had to stay in our rooms for the rest of the night. I wish I could give better feedback, but unfortunately, it was a very poor stay. I have been a Hilton honor member for approximately 20 years and I will not be back to this establishment!

Upon entering the room we immediately seen there were remnants from the previous visitors. (Crumbs, food, wrappers) and I did not appreciate that I was unable to extend our stay due to their phones being down. But overall it was not a bad weekend.

Our family came to celebrate our daughters 10th birthday. It was my husband, myself and our 3 children. We also had friends staying in another room with their children. Friday the 31st was our first night. My husband slipped into the hot tub because it was dirty slimmy and packed with unaccompanied children. We asked to speak to a manager at least 10 times to be told there was no manager there. No one seemed to care that my husband was hurt. Our children tried to use the pool many times but it was over run by a ton of unsupervised kids that werent even staying at the hotel to the point the pool was shut down.

The door was really hard to close thanks to the door hinges was breaking on the door and front desk did not offer to change rooms. We only had one towel and 2 washcloths when we arrived and it was 2 adults and 2 kids. Went to the front desk & they said none was clean but they will send some up. Next day still no towels,went to the front desk and they had some in the back & gave us some. The pool was ice cold and waterfall did not work, something was wrong with the water system they explained. The only reason that we went to the hotel was for the pool. The whirlpool was open but no room since the pool was ice cold no one was in the pool but 12 ppl in the whirlpool with a 5ppl max was the reason. The staff was nice and polite, love the free drink and snacks feom 5-7pm but i was just disappointed that It wasn't like the first time we came in June.

Definitely needs improvement
We’ve stayed at various Embassy Suites with great success. But this one had problems. Let me first say though that the service and response time was excellent. Now to the problems: the toilet seat was broken, the tv remote was broken, the room door was broken and there was a hole in the bathroom door. There was also a very noisy family next door after quiet hours and we called the front desk on. Plus the breakfast left a lot to be desired because it tasted old especially the sausages and potatoes. Last but not least one elevator was not working which left only one other slow elevator to service everyone. But as I said, the service response time was excellent. Also new owners are making plans for sorely needed renovations.

Very impressed.
From start to finish great service and friendly staff. Our room was clean and ready for our stay. The pool area was well kept and clean. We came during a snow storm. Access was easy, clean and well maintained. 10/10 would stay again. The kids loved the atrium and the balconies gave it a special effect. Only disappointment for us is that we had to leave before breakfast started. It smelled so good.

STAY AWAY HOTELS.COM
DO NOT use HOTELS.COM. We have been using them for YEARS and had a few issues we were willing to look over. But this is the last straw. We booked (2) rooms back in October for a December stay. Realized in November we wouldn't need them and canceled. Just went into the bank account and they charged us for the rooms. It took forever to connect to customer service only to be told they had no record of cancelation. We were never sent an email, so they won't provide a refund. If you do use them, be sure to keep your receipts. We had a similar issue years ago trying to get a refund on a very dirty, scary looking room we had reserved. Stained carpet, broken lock, broken mirror, missing lamp shade and even with pictures we had to fight the hotel for a refund with no help from HOTELS.COM. Just book directly with the hotels. Its well worth the extra $10-20.
