I stayed at this hotel for three nights while in town for a paracycling race. As a blind, disabled veteran, I travel with a service dog and a large tandem bike, which can sometimes make checking in and finding accommodations challenging. However, my experience here was outstanding.
I stayed in both a standard two-bed room and a two-bed suite, and both were incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable. The entire hotel had a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was smooth. From check-in to switching rooms, they were accommodating, friendly, and provided that true Southern hospitality you always hear about.
There were plenty of areas to walk my service dog, as well as great spots to get in some steps. Restaurants and shops were within walking distance, and if you have a car, there are even more options just a short drive away.
Overall, I had an excellent experience and highly recommend this hotel. The staff truly made all the difference, and I can’t praise them enough!
