Expect the unexpected
It was ok i just wish that these hotel stop saying free breakfast or they be specific when they say breakfast alot of times customers patronize business due to what extas they come with. I personally did I thought I was gonna get real good food it was dry cereal, dry bagels, dry muffins and oh you got to make your own dry waffles no eggs no meats nothn with moisture for your throat everything made your mouth dry and to not have any liquid to wash it down. It was horrible to say the least smh... I told them they could of least put some fruit or yogurt out. No juice bar no waters put only coffee, hot tea everyone dont drink that stuff

An old property but this might not be fair as I understand this property is going to be totally renovated and converted to a Royal Sonesta soon. Very few people stayed in hotel so the Internet works great. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The location is excellent with bus stop for 55 Cleveland line to downtown taking about 60 min. The hotel also has shuttle to airport. There are Walmart, Target, a mall food court within walking distance. Overall the property is old (but with 1980s-1990s nostalgic feel) but the stay is pleasant. Before I forgot great American breakfast every morning with eggs, hash browns, sausages, bacon and waffles.

The hotel was nice. In need of some major updates. Took nearly 5 minutes to get hot water for a shower. There were buttons broken or stuck on both elevators.

Smoke alarm kept chirping so I detached it. Key cards were difficult to use. Remote for tv stopped working. Light in bathroom out. Just one person working there that I didn’t want to bother.

Worn & tired and it shows...
This is one those "in transition" places that has probably been sold,bought/sold a couple times over, but no one is investing anything in the upkeep and it shows ... Service for the most part was good, but the airport shuttle service is only available 8am-8pm and as the front desk person relayed to us, it cannot really be relied upon as in her words, "we don't know if or when we will have a driver so you should probably download the Uber app".A couple of the employees are pretty unhappy with their workplace, and again, it shows...

I called the day before and was told there would be a free shuttle from the airport. When I called the morning I landed, I was told there was no shuttle option. Staff on the phone was short with me and the room and amenities were dirty and falling apart (rusting of various areas, substantial carpet stains, carpet coming undone, cracked tile, dirty overall).

Property is rundown. Rooms are moldy, musty and in dire need of updating. Wallpaper in the rooms is peeling off the walls. Electrical sockets and appliances are questionable. Door locks and key card lock may or may not be functioning etc etc etc

Room was nice, other than the shower needing upgraded. Check in took forever because only one person worked the counter. But the hotel was nice. Bed comfy, nice pillows, clean. Only the front entrance is open so parking was packed near the front door.

Stay was pretty good, staff was nice, the lobby is really nice and room was clean,( besides a used towel being left on the office chair. ) Could use a little updating. Like updating the TV and adding a table for the microwave and mini refrigerator instead of them being on the floor. Also I wasn't planning on getting in the pool but it was closed. So besides those things the stay was good and the bed was comfortable.
