Old, peeling paint all over the room. Not updated in decades. The pool didn't work, and the only large window in the room looked out into the hallway and the pool area. Kept curtains, old and frayed, closed so people couldn't look in the room, which means the room was very dark and gloomy. The other small window looked out on McDonald's drive-through. It was first first-floor room, but the 2nd floor would have been similar except for the smaller window. The pool was in the middle of the hotel, and all the rooms were around it made around it so all rooms large window face the hallway/pool.
The staff were lovely at check-in. Waved early check-in probably because we'd just come from a hospital visit.
It's a good price, just know that it's nothing special, peeling paint everywhere, and has an old grammar school type toilet. I wasn't expecting much for the price but was still surprised how run down it was.
Breakfast was meh. Not enough tongs for all the food, so it could be an issue with allergy/germ issues. Coffee was not good, or at least not strong enough for me. The Starbucks in the room was good, though.
