The bed in the room was awful. I was unable to sleep both nights we were there and maybe got three hours of sleep each night and woke up with terrible back pain from the bed. You could feel the springs in the mattress. Hotel was nice and staff was friendly but don’t plan on being able to sleep.

Beds not comfortable
Beds were not comfortable, pillows flat, only for 1 set of towels for 2 people, no extra blankets or pillows in room.

Poor Customer Service
I did not like the customer service. At check-in I waited in line until it was my turn. I was at the counter when another guest behind me walked up that appeared to be a flight attendant. The front desk attendant stop helping me, and begin assisting the other guest (that arrived after me) for a period of 10 minutes I waited for the attendant to return and assist me. I was in line in first, therefore I should have been assisted first. Why did I have to wait for the attendant to assist another guest that arrived after me. Other than this, my stay was ok. The experience at the front desk made me feel as if I was not a paying customer, and the other guest that arrived after me was treat with more value.

Only bad experience with double tree
Asked for a late checkout because my husband and I ran the Austin half marathon and we wanted a few more hours to shower and rest. The young lady checking us in told me that a late checkout wasn’t available, but the lady that was there with her said she would allow it and went to the computer and updated the notes. Turns out the young lady went back into the computer, removed it and added a note that she denied us a late checkout and she didn’t let us know. Thankfully my daughter needed another key because hers wasn’t working or we wouldn’t have known that was removed and would have been charged another night. The young lady that helped us get another key had a nasty attitude, there’s no way neither of them should be working in any kind of customer facing position.

Typical good Hilton hotel, nothing special
Clean rooms, great lobby, breakfast area, 20$/night self parking, 10$/2 person breakfast.
