I spent one of the worst nights I spent in a hotel.
I finally fell asleep at around 21:30, when suddenly at 23:00, a loud knocking at my door woke me up. I shouted “ who is it!” and some people mumbled something and went away. I had the “please don’t disturb sign hanging on the door” and I assumed someone made a mistake with the room number. I thought I was lucky at that time, because I felt asleep right away. Ten minutes after that, my telephone started to ring on and on. I do not know why they put the telephone in the desk and not beside you in the night table.I had to get up and shouted, now, very angry “Who is this!!!”
It supposedly was Terry, the manager, who wanted to know who was occupying this room, because in their computer, it was supposed to be EMPTY! Now I am sorry, but in that moment I was VERY ANGRY and kept shouting that was NOT MY PROBLEM, and that I would talk to her the next morning and asked her when would she be available. She answered she would be downstairs between 7 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. Obviously, I could not sleep until several hours later… I was very upset! Next morning, at the desk, they told me she already left, ( it was 8:50 am ) I told Mercedes what happened and she was the only one who ask for an apology. Nobody knew what could’ve happened.
By the way, the bathrooms need upgrading. It takes 5 to 8 flushes to clean the WC away! All the pluming appliances are loose, and the pillow cases smell like someone have used them.
