When my husband checked in, we had reserved a king room, my husband was told there were no ground floor rooms. He asked because I am in a wheelchair. We were unaware that some of the buildings were not handicap accessible. We drove over to the room and I realized there was no elevator to the 2nd floor. We also smelled pot all over the parking lot. I don't care if people smoke but the people were very sketchy and it was multiple people. So we went back to the front and I went in. I told her I cannot use a non accible room and needed a building with evevator access or a ground room. She found a ground room that magically appeared since my husband checked in 5 minutes ago. Sadly it was just a double bed, which the desk person did not tell me at check in. That was all annoying but forgivable. However the terrible state of the room was not. The "remodel" in the room, especially the bathroom looks as if it was done by a kid. The wires exposed in the bathroom were the worst. We did go swimming there and I wish I had taken pictures. There was a white growth around much of the pool and hot tub. It had not been skimmed and there was no towels. Speaking of towels, the bathroom towels were like sandpaper. I have travelled all over the world and stayed in 500 year old builings and they were not as amateur as this place. And who doesn't have handicap accessible rooms in 2025? I do not typically complain but this was outrageous for the price. Do better.
