Bathroom was not cleaned before arrival. Housekeeping left room unlocked, someone tried breaking into the room in the middle of the night.

They put us far from the elevator.
My parent hip was hurting so bad after that

The Northern Lights
Good hotel that is showing signs of aging. My carpet had beads and small items that indicated that it had not been vacuumed. Comfortable bed. Responsive staff (for towels) since there was no automatic daily room service. There was no bread at breakfast for toast - only mini muffins which were not very good (not fully cooked). Its a pork lovers paradise. Vegan options are limited.

Poor Service
2nd day in the morning soap dispenser fell off wall and broke on floor, the handle for the shower came off in my hand. I notified the desk as I left for work at 7:00 am, they said they would have maintenance fix it right away. I came back to Hotel at 6:30 and while the room had been cleaned nothing was done to the shower. I went down and informed the front desk. The clerk called maintenance on the radio and they said it needed to be put in the pipeline. The clerk stated it had been 11 hrs ago. They sated they would get to it when they could. I went to dinner and came back and waited till 10:00 pm and they never came. The next morning I told the desk I wanted to speak to a manager and both clerks said they were managers and would address it. I was checking out anyways and didn't take a shower. I'm handicapped and it was an accessible room but I wasn't comfortable going into shower with my wheelchair and trying to bend over to pickup glass. This Hotel is owned by Holland America and having been on their cruises, no where near the same service. At no time did anyone apologize for the incident or basically do anything but said we would take care of it. I stay here 2-3 days each month for work and its a location convience, but not a requirement.

The stay was fine besides one of the front desk employees his name was phoenix was rude and unprofessional everybody else was great
