The staff were really helpful and professional and the hotel is in a great location on top of Piccadilly.
There was a coffee machine (pods not topped up though) plus a kettle and lots of different teas, some sachets of coffee and one hot chocolate sachet. It would've been nice to have more than 4 little pods of milk but I'm sure if I'd asked they would've supplied more. There was also a large bottle of water with a 2nd one left in the room the next day that there was no charge for when used, which was nice.
There was also an ironing board, iron, hairdryer and safe. The usual toiletries were provided and topped up. You can also request a gown and slippers if you want them. The shower was lovely and hot and good pressure.
Unfortunately the room (comfort and facilities) have let it down.
There were no plug sockets or usb ports to charge your phones by the bed, the fridge in the room was quite loud (we unplugged it), the aircon/heating was either baking hot or freezing cold (temperature controls had no effect, it was either on or off) and the coffee machine didn’t work properly taking several attempts to get a small cup of coffee.
We didn’t report any of this so the hotel may have been able to resolve some of these issues, and when checking out we were asked if everything was ok with our stay and said yes, but there were a lot of issues and we probably would try another hotel next time and probably need to pay a little more.
