Do not stay here. I am still trying to cancel my reservation for this hotel that I did not check into. An employee called me a few hours before check-in and told me I would need to bring $200 in cash as a security deposit. That’s high for a deposit, but more importantly, the security deposit should not be cash. The property listing states that the hotel does not accept cash. I was not asked for cash until it was too late to cancel and find a new hotel. After that, I was suspicious and did not want to leave my credit card with this hotel, so I called Hotels.com and asked to change hotels. Even though I had paid them in full upon booking, Hotels.com still has not given me a refund. I got the runaround from several reps who promised me that it would be taken care of as soon as the hotel manager responded to their calls. The manager was not picking up the phone. In the meantime, I had to book a second room so my friends and I would have a place to stay, as we were already on the road. It’s a 6-hour drive for us. I started this on Friday and it is now Sunday, and it’s still not resolved. This is ruining my vacation and my credit.
