Hilton in the Hood
Check in at 4pm, arrived right after work ready to take a shower. However, I discovered there wasn't any hot water. So I called the front desk, and o was told the technician ETA would be appx 10-15. Well, it was now 20 minutes later, and my husband called the front desk and was told he was working on the elevators.
After time elasped, I called front desk, and I made an executive decision for them to put us in another room because we had dinner reservations for 7pm. So, Amber brought the key for the new room. Once we arrived in the new room, the key card didn't work, so my husband had to go back downstairs, return to the front desk. Luckily, it worked.
By the way, only 1 out of 4 elevators were working, and a sign posted that guests can use the service elevator. Appx at 10:45am, the water was shut off, while at checkout counter I told the front desk clerk we had no water and we were informed the city of Houston shut the water off for the entire hotel smh!!!
