Arrived at 11:30 at night to no one there to check us in. Called and texted but no answer. Front attendant finally showed up 15+ min later. Super sweet guy but we were so tired and wanted to get checked in. Got us checked in and when we got to our room, there was bags of garbages and towels in the middle of the room, lights were on, bed had dirty sheets and wasn’t made. We went back to the front desk and the guy was gone again. Finally got settled into a clean room around 12:30am.

Shockingly Bad

At check-in, nobody was at the front desk for over 10 minutes. The location / room was extremely dirty. There were crumbs and hair in the sheets, and our socks were completely black from the floor within minutes of arriving. The pool door malfunctioned and my kids were locked inside. When I went to the front desk to alert staff, again, no one was there. My kids had to be helped out of the pool area through a window. This could’ve been much worse if they were younger children.

I have stayed here quite a few times and it meets my needs. The breakfast is limited, but is fine. Had a problem getting cable channels and was told someone would come by and take care of it. I was there and never received a visit. I’m glad I had a book to read. Bathroom door in my room was extremely tight so you didn’t dare close it. Wi-fi was fine and strong. Had microwave, coffee maker and fridge. Owner seems nice. Good location and far enough from the busy street that I didn’t hear noise. City gets really quiet at night which is a plus. Overall decent place for the price but could use a breakfast upgrade. And on a three-day stay I really want cable TV. I asked twice and got blown off. Hot tub is a plus but doesn’t open until 4pm.

Nice stay

The double room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It also had a microwave and refrigerator. The only minor issue we had was that the toilet did not flush well. The hot tub and pool were also nice and the hotel’s location was good as it was close to several restaurants and gas stations. The breakfast had several options, including cereal, eggs, bread/bagels, and waffles.

Staff good, manager useless.

The room was ok. Style looks like it was built in the 60's or 70's. The bed was ok and the room was clean*. The manager first put us in an uncleaned room. Our second room was clean. The manager tried to move another couple in our room the next day. We were there 3 days and they never cleaned up the pool area, used towels thrown everywhere no fresh towels to use.

You get what you pay for

The place just needs a major renovation and more attention to details. The room was not bad otherwise, and it was quiet enough with the fan blowing. The breakfast was not the best.

Not great!

Hotel rooms are a bit dated, drain in shower very slow. Neighbors in room next to ours where firing off fireworks at 11:30pm for an hour until police showed up. Management should have done something sooner.

Disappointment

Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. The room was in poor condition — the bathtub was dirty, the sink was broken, and there was a large water stain on the ceiling. Everything felt very outdated and not well-maintained. Would not stay here again unless major improvements are made.

Uncomfortable bed. Leaky tub. Luckily when the door was closed, you couldn’t hear it. It served its purpose. I would stay elsewhere if I’m back in Cedar City.

Staff was very nice, it was quiet and I felt safe in the area. But the room was dirty. The floors especially. And we found a bug, not sure what kind.

After reading some complaints, I was concerned that it might not be a good choice, but it was unfounded. The place was clean, beds comfortable, enough good pillows, hot water in the shower, good breakfast and coffee, and convenient location.

The tile floor was better than carpet, but it turned our feet black! Other than the floor, everything was clean. We had three people in the room, and when we tried to get another set of hand and wash cloths, the desk kept telling us we needed to bring back a set to get a new set. The room only came with 2 wash cloths and two hand towels. We finally got a third wash cloth and a fourth bath towel. Not what we were asking for, but it was helpful.
