Affordable downtown, minimal service
Neutral: -Room doors are outdoors -require payment of $100 deposit before stay -require $5 parking fee per vehicle, however have multiple signs indicating they do not watch or have responsibility for your vehicle or things while parked there -minimal breakfast offerings, two cereals, two muffin types, bagels, bread, strawberry banana yogurt, milk, butter, jam, pancake machine, orange juice, apple juice, coffee, whole apples. No vegan options, only protein option is yogurt. -a bit of a language barrier between myself and staff could make communication a bit difficult at times Positive: -staff at the counter quickly whenever I needed -affordable stay compared to others nearby -offers free breakfast -nicer inside the room than the outside made me think it may be -clean towels -received room service first day -the male evening staff was very kind and accommodating with every interaction Negatives: -my room was not recently deep cleaned, multiple stains on the walls, headboard, door, walls, mirror, etc. -sheets were okay, some discoloration and small moth like holes -room smelled like smoke -sofa chair had a rip in the seat and was visibly worn/dirty -was questioned turse-ly on why I wanted a second blanket by staff, then didn’t get one -phone in the room didn’t work, nor did some light switches -very bright parking lot with curtains and door facing it that didn’t fully block out the light -breakfast is ‘done in only’ and they won’t allow you to take any to rooms

Good place to stay
Our room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in the heart of downtown so the surroundings were not glamorous but the property looked good. Service was friendly and efficient.

Nope!
Please save your time and money. I don’t normally complain about hotels but this one was just unacceptable. One person running the front desk and breakfast and watching his kid all at the same time, he could not keep breakfast stocked and I left starving. The ice machine is boarded up and pad locked. There was hair on our “clean” towels. Room was run down and the ceiling was bowing. Too many things to list here. I requested a refund for my one night and the owner refused. They aren’t concerned about customer satisfaction.

Comfy but noisy
The hotel beds were very comfy. The hotel is on the main road and you can hear EVERYTHING- every car, truck, person. Very loud throughout the night. The hotel breakfast is very minimal as well. Pancakes & then prepackaged/cold foods (cereal, muffins, etc)

Convention trip
It was cheap and all I can say is you get what you pay for. The bathroom seemed clean enough but there was something sticky on the floor beside the bed. Bed was comfortable. Outside of building needs some updating. Breakfast was terrible. Only carbs to choose from. It is close to the convention center, within walking distance. Water in bathroom never got hot, only lukewarm.

When we arrived to the property the first thing we noticed is that part of the building had fire damage. That isn't necessarily the hotel's fault, so we went to the lobby to check in. The hours listed showed the lobby was still open, but the doors were locked and we had to talk to the receptionist through a window. I had paid for my reservation ahead of time, yet I was told I had to pay for parking and put a $100 deposit down for damages and/or smoking. When we got up to the room it already smelled heavily like smoke. We decided it wasn't worth it to stay and risk losing our deposit for the smell, so we immediately went to the window and told the receptionist we were checking out. She asked what was wrong and after I explained she did offer to try and switch us to a different room, but we still decided not to stay. We were only checked in for a total of maybe 10 minutes. When we walked out of the lobby there were a couple other guests who warned us not to walk around the complex alone because someone had been jumped that morning and there was a kidnapping attempt the day before. We were in town for a show, so we left the car there, ubered to the show, and then ubered back. When we got back to the hotel there were multiple police there making homeless people trying to get into the building to leave. We quickly got into our vehicle and left.

POOR CUTOMER RELATIONS
Trip was booked through Hotels.com and I have the reservation confirmation with me. I reserved a room for 2 days. Again I had the confirmation with me. My family and I went tto the events we wanted to see on Saturday and when we came back my card would not work. I went to the front desk and asked if they could rescan the card because it does not work. The front desk clerk decided to berate me and told me I did not tell them I was staying two days. I just happened to have the confirmation paper on me and I showed him. He then said that it was my responsibility to tell them when I checked in and paid for my room that I was going to stay for the two days. I asked why I should have to since I had a confirmation of two days. He again became very aggrivated with me and told me that it is always the customers responsibility to tell the front desk what my plans are for the next day. I take this as I am supposed to tell them when and where I am going. I asked if that was correct. His response is that it is the customers responsibiliyu to tell the front desk what their plans are. I HIGHLY DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM RENTING A ROOM FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT
