Cold but clean
The temp in the room never got over 58 degrees Fahrenheit, despite trying to adjust it on the thermostat. Calls to the front desk were never answered. There is hot water in the shower but takes a long time to get there. Bed was comfortable and clean. Room was clean, just really cold

Arrival was great! Get to our room and it was an ice box. We called and then had to call again about someone coming to look at the heater. We were then told it was broken so they moved us rooms...bonus was a better view but negative was long hairs all over the bathroom floor and the counter and the toilet paper had something on it too. Breakfast was pretty standard for a hotel. Lastly, we purchased parking via Hotels.com. We called the hotel prior to make sure they would honor it, we asked again when we checked-in, then when we went to check-out she questioned us and removed the parking charge with some disgust.

Honeymoon
Our stay was wonderful, we were given an upgrade for our honeymoon. The location of the hotel was great. The front desk clerk was so professional and very friendly.

Great for the price.
This is a great value in downtown Denver, especially because parking was included. It’s pretty run down though which is reflected in the price. Awesome location. Tbh I’d stay there again. The rooms are really drafty and cold. It was very cold outside and the heat in my room didn’t seem to be working. The drapes no longer worked so I couldn’t close them to block some of the draft. The front desk wasn’t very helpful in general but the valet and the guy who had to get me into my room because my key didn’t work were.

Denver CO. Holiday Inn Express
The room was 82 degrees and the hotel has no air conditioning. I spoke with other patrons in the elevator and they all had the same issues. The maintenance guy came in 2xs to try to adjust it but couldn't. The hotel stated they had no other rooms available but brought us a fan. The fan brought the temp down to 79 degrees. We then tried to take showers but there was no hot water. I went down to the front desk and they suggested we flush the toilet several times and run both the sink and tub faucet simultaneously, to "bring up the hot water" once the sink water was hot and I turned it off the tub water went ice cold again. A different maintenance guy came to the room and said the room next door had the same issue and they moved rooms but the hotel still told me there were no rooms available. The maintenance guy also stated he contacted his bosses but it was Saturday and they would not do anything till Monday. He also tried to get us moved to another room. We waited for word on another room for 1.5 hours. I had no choice but to book another hotel and we left at 8pm and walked the 7 blocks with our luggage and store purchase to another, more expensive hotel. Hotels.com was able to negotiate a full refund.

A little disappointed because pur first room was 90 degrees, receptionist stated at check in that we could not control temp of rooms and if room was too hot or cold she would could provide a fan or heater. Room was unbearable and requested a room change, service was great they moved us first thing next morning and upgraded us. Had to ask several time for house keeping and clean towels. Breakfast was lacking juice machine was down 3 out of the four mornings, offered same choices 2 of 4 days. Most likely will not stay here again. With that said the staff was VERY kind and professional.

The staff was great. The room was clean and the view was nice! The outlet on the bedside lame didn't work, but there was another outlet close by. hotels.com had one price and the hotel charged about $75 more, but other than that we had no issue.
