We rented this apartment for a 12-night stay in January 2023. The views were amazing, and the apartment is very close to a couple of bus lines. We enjoyed taking the nearby Uber boat across the Thames to Canary Wharf and into London and Greenwich. The area felt very safe, even when walking at night. It was mostly quiet, but you’ll hear planes after 6am with the bedroom patio door open.
The living room gets a lot of sun but there are no shades, which made watching TV in the morning impossible when sitting on the very soft couch. I don’t think the apartment has air conditioning so it might be warm during summer.
Some things were missing that we feel should have been provided: trash bags, paper towels or napkins, mixing bowls, leftover food storage, measuring cups, a new toaster (the existing one burned toast no matter the setting), and common spices. A knife sharpener would also help. I would have appreciated a Keurig or even a drip pot instead of the provided coffee press. By the time I was ready for the second cup, it had to be reheated.
The bathtub/shower combination is high and the tub can be slippery, with no grab bar or shower mat. Washcloths were not provided but body wash and shampoo was available.
Overall, it was a good experience and we enjoyed our stay. With so many people in London, the apartment was a nice place to get away from the crowds. If the above supplies are added to the apartment, it will be a great place.
