Sleep in your car!

Room in poor condition, bathroom door would not shut. Room was not cleaned nor was the bed made (did get clean towels only) We asked for a handicap room and was denied. the room we were given was on an upper hall at the VERY END of the Hallway. The mattress needed to be replaced. Felt like a water bed.

Request for Full Refund Due to Unhygienic Room AC

Dear Comfort Inn & Suites Management, I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. The experience was extremely unpleasant and unacceptable. The pillows in the room had a strong, foul odor—similar to armpits and mold—which made it impossible to rest comfortably. It was clear the linens were not properly cleaned or replaced, and the smell was absolutely disgusting and unhygienic. In addition, the air conditioning unit was excessively loud, producing constant noise throughout the night that prevented me from getting any sleep. Between the unbearable smell and the disruptive noise, I was unable to sleep at all during my stay. I checked into your hotel expecting a clean, restful environment, and unfortunately, that was not the experience I received. Given the unsanitary conditions and the severe discomfort caused, I am requesting a full refund for this stay. I hope you take this matter seriously, as no guest should have to endure such conditions. Please confirm receipt of this complaint and advise on the next steps for processing the refund.

We were happy to have a place to sleep at 2 in the morning. Check in was easy and friendly. We noticed right away this place is in need of a complete renovation. Our bed was very comfortable but the cleaning of the room could have been better. We will probably not be back there...

This is a decent place to sleep. There are annoying lights above the head board with no obvious switch for turning them off. I had to cover them with pillow slip covers but that didn't keep out all the light. Getting there is a challenge - there is a traffic circle that must be navigated and the signage is so bad that I made multiple mistakes finding the right exit off the circle.

I stay here fairly often. This trip, carpet had not been vacuumed, trash wasn’t emptied, the A/C was off so the room was humid and smelled musty upon entering, and in this particular room - 316 - there is a small evidence of mold in the shower.

Nice place to stay

The hotel was fine. The front desk staff was excellent and friendly. The gentleman that did the breakfast set up was always about refilling breads, eggs, sausage etc. The hotel is a bit old and could use a facelift but nice to stay at. The McDonald’s and Taco Bell within walking distance is a plus

Worst experience for a highly rated hotel.

When we drove in to the building there were about 20 people smoking and drinking outside the main lobby. I wasn’t sure if it was the right place. So I slowly pulled over and checked the sign at the top and was completely disappointed to note it was comfort inn. I asked the manager who these guys were and his reply was a simply they are hanging out and they are staying in the building. In the middle of the night random people came and knocked at my door @4am. I shouted them it was not the right room and they came back and knocked again @4:30am. I had a 8 hour drive next day and couldn’t sleep well at this hotel. The breakfast was terrible the next day. This place is not worth rating 8 and it is definitely not family friendly.

Good Option

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was very clean and the staff went above and beyond. Syracuse has very limited lodging options and even fewer quality locations. The comfort Inn is a good choice. We have been coming to Syracuse for 4 years. I wish we had tried this option sooner.
