We asked about the airport shuttle and they said we had to call an Uber. That is one of the reasons, I can't post higher.
The majority of the staff were very kind and nice.
We weren't offered any breakfast, if it was included, we weren't told about it.
We had booked a room with hotels.com in advance for a great price. When other plans fell thru we stayed the night before as well, so we wouldn't have to move rooms. We paid a lot more since it was same day. When we arrived very friendly lady, said we would probably want to upgrade room, but would show us the room we paid for. It was musty smelling and some mosquitos lingered. So, we went with the upgrade as it was a minimal cost. The room was beautiful and the air conditioning was on and it was great. The bed was extremely hard, I like a firm, but this was really hard. In the morning, we told the front desk gentleman we didn't need our room cleaned, but we would like our two complimentary waters to take to pool. He said he would send someone out with them and towels. Then, he said we had to upgrade to stay in room for the next night. We understood, but it was a large price for upgrade, we went to hotels.com to see if we could just upgrade, as we paid under $95, a room avsilable for $147, it showed only $40 more but we're told we had to cancel and rebook, where when we did that it ended up being $226. So we did want help with that, please. When checking out we were told we owed $ for the waters. Tried to reason but didn't.
