The hotel is beautiful but from the moment you walk in you feel like you are entering a dealership. They greet you, sit you with a concierge after check in and they push, push and push you to go to there sales pitch about time shares. I understand the business side of things, but being informative and being pushy are two different things. They will offer you spa credit, free excursions and room credits just to try and force you to go to the sales pitch (they won’t take no for an answer so you just say yes and don’t show up) At checkout Monse (she said she’s the supervisor when i asked to speak to a manager) was extremely rude. She was charging me x am extra in “taxes” when i ask her to explain to me why i am being charged over extra she said that they have different charges for taxes depending on the amount? I asked her if she knew the percentages that are charged in taxes and eco she said it differs by customer? Iva is set at 16% in Mexico (she said that it’s not correct and it depends on the amount we are being charged? That’s the first lie. Then she said there’s a fee of x amt or more for Propina (tips) I asked if that’s a set fee she said “no it depends on the amount of Propina you decide to give” It’s not about the money but when someone in “management” can’t explain the taxes and fees that are being charged to the room then they can charge what they want? My checkout bill was x amt (I only charged tips to my room since it’s an all inclusive) the total in tips was

stayed at Garza Blanca Resort & Spa in Cabo from May 13–17, 2025, and it was honestly the worst resort experience I’ve ever had. I don’t even know how this place has a 5 Diamond rating. First off, someone came into my room unannounced while I was undressed, and money was stolen from my room. I reported it and all they said was they investigated and found nothing. No real apology, no accountability, nothing. The front desk staff were extremely rude and unhelpful the entire time. Check-in took 30–40 minutes, and they didn’t even let me know when my room was ready — I had to keep checking myself. Once I finally got in the room, there was a loud buzzing noise the whole time. The entire resort also smelled like straight sewage, which made everything even worse. Nobody showed me around or explained anything — not even how to get to my room. There was no entertainment the whole time I was there. No music, no shows, nothing. The vibe was just dead. On top of that, I also felt racially profiled during my stay, which made me super uncomfortable and really ruined the trip. This place is not what it claims to be. If you’re expecting luxury, safety, or even basic customer service, do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

I've stayed at other all inclusive resorts, and I felt like Garza was lacking just a few amenities. Overall it was great, but theres a few things missing for it to compete with the other top resorts. I feel like the resort needs a sports bar, it was difficult to find a place to watch sports, just about every other all inclusive ive stayed in has a sports bar, and some type of music or even a club/bar with some nightlife. The cable channels were pretty limited in the room and asked to have their premium wifi to cast you phone to the TV which is $17 per day, like what? I thought that was ridiculous. Also a coffee shop/deli would be nice to grab snacks or a coffee. Not much activities other than pool volleyball. Saturday was pretty dead, which was pretty sad, we had a tour that day, came back pretty tired to the resort, we decided to stay and have some drunks there and found there nothing to do at the resort, it was pretty sad, opportunity to make it more lively for adults staying in, the rooftop bar was dead Saturday and sunday. They only have music/DJs on the weekends when theres weddings events, so plan to go to town if you want listen to music while enjoying some drinks. Overall the service, staff and food eas amazing, but its lacking some amenities that other all inclusive resorts have to make me want to come back to this one only and not try another. The food was really amazing, everything we tried was consistently good.

Liked - Great location, clean and spacious Not Liked - not transparent in their billing, charges and financial dealings. The resort credit wasn't automatically posted and they had to be reminded. The resort credit doesn't include taxes and gratuity which adds up to almost 35% of the food/drink item. This is high even for a high end resort. The wine selection in "all inclusive" drinks is very poor and bad
