The hotel is beautiful but from the moment you walk in you feel like you are entering a dealership. They greet you, sit you with a concierge after check in and they push, push and push you to go to there sales pitch about time shares. I understand the business side of things, but being informative and being pushy are two different things. They will offer you spa credit, free excursions and room credits just to try and force you to go to the sales pitch (they won’t take no for an answer so you just say yes and don’t show up)
At checkout Monse (she said she’s the supervisor when i asked to speak to a manager) was extremely rude. She was charging me x am extra in “taxes” when i ask her to explain to me why i am being charged over extra she said that they have different charges for taxes depending on the amount? I asked her if she knew the percentages that are charged in taxes and eco she said it differs by customer? Iva is set at 16% in Mexico (she said that it’s not correct and it depends on the amount we are being charged? That’s the first lie. Then she said there’s a fee of x amt or more for Propina (tips) I asked if that’s a set fee she said “no it depends on the amount of Propina you decide to give”
It’s not about the money but when someone in “management” can’t explain the taxes and fees that are being charged to the room then they can charge what they want?
My checkout bill was x amt (I only charged tips to my room since it’s an all inclusive) the total in tips was

I thoroughly enjoyed my vacation at Garza Blanca. The resort is beautiful, spacious rooms, and they keep the grounds clean. The food, and variety was very good. You can see whales from the resort, which I enjoyed. The only downside was the last night, we had a noise complaint from another guest. Their protocol and how they handled the situation didn’t meet my standards. However, other than that minor situation everything was nice!

The staff was amazing! They were always there to take care of us all week with a friendly demeanor! The room was beautiful with a great ocean view! The restaurant's had excellent food and the drinks were great! We will be going to Garza Blanca again!

Cleanest place I have stayed. Downside is it’s odd for an all inclusive go have to sign a bill for everything. A water, a beer, a coffee - you sign a tab, slows the overall service down. The other thing is you cannot get ice cream or coffee included in the all inclusive, unless at a restaurant. They have the market but that’s all an additional cost. Great beach, clean everywhere but the bills and lack of a few amenities in an all inclusive is a bit off putting .

Staff was fantastic. Solid dining options. Pleasantly surprised by the Japanese restaurant and steak house. Gratuity is included, but something extra is appreciated and rewarded with over the top service. At least, that was our experience. We had a junior suite for 2 adults and a 12 year old girl. There was enough storage for us, but a bit limited on bathroom space. The bath setup is a bit odd, as others have noted. We will do a one bedroom next year. Housekeeping was great. We called for most of our services as we were headed to the pool or dinner. Edwardo at the pool was fantastic, as was the gentleman who makes the Caesar salads at the streak house. Management was on top of things. The time share pitch is what it is. We didn’t get approached after we turned it down at check in. Make dinner reservations early. At least 2 weeks in advance, if not 4. You can always change when you arrive. Early slots go fast. The restaurants rarely look crowded, but they can only handle so many covers at once.

Wonderful property. Super friendly staff. We did the all inclusive and the food was all superb. Nice beach to watch whales and rays passing by. You definitely need dinner reservations in advance. Our 1 bedroom suite was spacious and beautiful- just make sure you request a room far away from the road. We could hear traffic so didn’t use the balcony much.

It was good for what it was. Not great for a big group (we had 11). When we first got to the hotel the only reservations they had for dinner were at 9:00 every night and the only other option is room service (which doesn’t help with 3 kids 6 and under and a 90yr old great grandmother). We had to complain to the manager about the inconvenience before getting accommodated and the restaurants. Other downside is that people wake up early, leave their stuff on pool chairs and “reserve” them for unspecified amount of time while they go eat breakfast and take all of the lounge chairs. This leaves other families who can’t find seating wandering around aimlessly not knowing if or when people would free up seats.

This our second time staying at Garza Blanca Cabo all inclusive and it's truly an excellent resort, 5 stars for service, cleanliness, dining options, multiple pools and beach access.. we even used the babysitter service and Ana was a blessing with our 9 month old. All in all HIGHLY recommended and we will definitely continue to return

Beautiful hotel right next to the ocean. Amazing food and drinks. However I would not return or recommend to solo travelers. I love to travel internationally and have been to many top resorts. At this hotel I was ignored and neglected often at meals, at the pool. It was almost like I was invisible and they would check in on tables around me—while I constantly had to flag down waiters and beg for service. This happened to me across the report and I can’t say the level of service aligns to the price or a 5 star hotel. A few of the waiters were also rude to me. Overall I would recommend If part of a group. The spa was amazing and best I have been to me. Unfortunately I can’t ignore the poor service at this hotel. They also refused my VIP perks, even after I emailed in advance and it was confirmed. I had to request a manager. Which was an unpleasant start to my arrival and also not what I am use to as an Expedia Gold member
