Although the hostel is super chic, but it is totally not practical. - only one socket beside your bed and no shelves. You have nowhere to put your stuffs. - ventilation in the room is poor. - sinks are unbelievable small and no shelves.

Padrísimo lugar
El lugar está increíble, la zona y el hotel vale muchísimo la pena. Tienes todo lo que necesitas, muy buena opción para quedarte y con vistas increíbles. El servicio de recepción no es tan amigable, el que atiende es muy serio y con pocas ganas de ayudar. Creo que tenía muchos días trabajando que todo lo hizo con mala cara.

Highly recommend!
Amazing stay at The Barn! The hostel was very new and clean. There was a full kitchen for guests to use, lots of chairs to lounge and relax. Great location and incredible views from the hostel. Was able to see the Northern Lights from the parking lot :)

second floor had so many rooms, but only 2 bathroom to share. and they all have showers in the same room as the toilet. which means if 2 people are showering, you can't even use the bathroom on the same floor as your room. The sinks inside the 2 bathrooms and outside are all extremely small. This is for sharing. but their sink size is probably smaller than some of the hotel's sink that we had in our own room. The bathroom had no shampoo. not even conditioner. The room itself was tiny and slanted. on our 1 week trip in iceland, this hotel was the most not worth the money. we have paid like $100 less for something better in other area.

Stayed 2 nights here in a room with the private bathroom. It very well exceeded my expectations. Easy check in, kind staff, lovely bar. The locks/handles were confusing at first but I learned very fast! Location was great for me, I like being tucked away.. town is only about 7 min away. I was able to catch the northern lights here which was AMAZING. There’s plenty of parking but it can fill up quick at night even then I found a close spot so I have zero complaints. 10/10. Out of a week stay in Iceland I would say this was my favorite.

This is the hostel that makes you want to be a solo traveler. The property was very nice, new, and had a modern feel. I'd love to come back and spend more time there!

This is an adorable hostel. Great kitchen area. We stayed in a private room with a shared bathroom which as adults we were a bit concerned about but ended up being no issue. The only issue was how loud the keys/doors are when people are coming and going from their rooms. Maybe if they are ever going to upgrade their door locking systems, make them quieter.
