You gotta stay here!!
What an amazing spot!!! We absolutely loved every minute of our stay here. We were upgraded when we arrived, which was an unexpected suprise. Our room was great and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The staff made us feel like family and the grounds were beautiful. We really enjoyed the kayaks and the private beach!! We will be back!!

Excellent stay, relaxing, good food, beachfront!
I enjoyed my room a lot, I could see the beach and the ocean from my bed and that I just had to walk 10 steps to where I got fed. This hotel is very good for relaxing and not going anywhere, The sand felt nice too and it was clean. Surprisingly, I didn’t get any bites, which I’m very thankful for. My massage at the beach was enjoyable and my masseuse, Chloe, was great! Although I did enjoy my stay at ADM, I prefer to have a longer beach to walk on and I wish there were more restaurants nearby to walk to.

Laid back, relaxing, and eco conscious community! They have bikes but they’re in need of maintenance. However, riding around is safe and people will help if you need any assistance. Loved the staff! I chose Azur Mar as I thought it was in Placencia Town. I am glad I made the choice I prefer area of location. Hotel was rustic and beautiful, staff very friendly, helpful and responsive. Beautiful peacful location. I plan to stay again.

Our five-day stay at Maya Beach was truly a revelation. This hotel is an oasis of peace, a haven where you instantly feel welcomed and at ease. From the moment we arrived, the entire team was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our experience unforgettable. If we could have, we would have stayed even longer! We were fortunate enough to stay in a small cabin right on the sand—an absolute dream. Swimming just steps away from our cabin, with the ocean right in front of us, was simply perfect. The setting is ideal for relaxation, with hammocks and lounge chairs scattered around, inviting you to unwind and soak in the surroundings. The hotel's restaurant is excellent. Every meal was a delight, and we loved being served directly in our cabin. The service was impeccable, adding to the overall feeling of comfort and well-being. One of the highlights of our stay was the massage we had on the pier. This massage far exceeded our expectations, both in terms of the attention given and the high level of professional quality. It was a total relaxation experience, perfectly fitting the idyllic setting. In summary, Maya Beach is more than just a hotel; it’s a true experience of serenity and bliss. We cannot recommend it enough to anyone looking to recharge in a paradisiacal setting.

This place is far away from everything but you have everything you need on premises. The staff are super friendly, competent and accommodating, a definite plus compared to some other places in Belize and Placencia specifically. I gave this hotel four instead of five stars because the food was not very good. The salad wasn’t cut properly, didn’t mix well with the dressing and was difficult to eat. The other dishes I ate were also a bit mediocre. Otherwise, very enjoyable and beautiful. The massage was nice too.

I've stayed at many hotels, but this place was not only beautiful, the staff was AMAZING. I wish I could have stayed longer! Their attention to my needs/questions exceeded my expectations. I was very impressed with their customer service and will always recommend Azur Del Mar to friends and relatives. I also plan on staying with them when I return to Placencia. Excellent rooms and location. I stayed in a beachfront cabin right beside the ocean, the inside was beautiful with fan, air conditioning, very clean bathroom with shower. Outside I had a porch with chairs and a hammock facing the beach shaded by palm trees. The bed was very comfortable with good pillows, they make towel swans on your bed and decorate the towels with fresh flowers. The room had a fridge with drinking water and a coffee maker stocked with coffee, cream and sugar. The whole place is kept very clean, they sweep the outside and rake the beach every morning, the restaurant, bar, rooms, pool, et. every area I saw was spotless clean. The pool goes from 3 ft on the sides to 5 ft in the middle, and the water is great super clean. They also have a restaurant and bar that is very good. The drinks and food are a bit pricey for Belize, but the quality and convenience of having it right there maybe 20 feet from the door of your cabin makes it worth paying a bit more. There are only 8 cabins and 2 large family suites in the whole resort, it feels very cozy and exclusive. The ocean is shallow up until the end of the dock, great place to relax in the water and for little kids to swim. Aguitis walk by in the morning, sometimes they come to the beach, there are a lot of tropical birds and little lizards, but no mosquitoes by the beach. Very relaxing and stress free resort.

One of the nicest places I've started. Amazing staff makes you feel like family as soon as you arrive. The view is stunning and the room I was in was an ocean front cabin. Highly recommend this place!!!

Wonderful private beach hut great value
Wonderful stay at a beautiful private hut walking out on to the beach. Great restaurant, beach toys. Room clean and nice. Bed comfortable. Nobody’s fault but just a little sand in the room can start to make its way into everything. Maybe a foot bath with water outside the unit? We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again.

Azure Del Mar was an incredible personal resort. The cabana we stayed in had beautiful view of the sunrise in the morning. We had access to the water right from the front porch of our Cabana. Plural right in front of your stay. The entire staff, every single member was friendly, helpful, an eager to make our stay memorable. We went for our 10-year anniversary and they provided a private dinner on the beach while the sun was setting. Our room was left with fragrances that were calming and soothing. The pool was the perfect temperature and the ambiance of the grounds was tranquil and relaxing. It was our first time to the area and it won't be our last.
