The hotel was nice overall but the dining options were extremely limited with little flexibility in availability times. In addition some of the best amenities of the property were for exclusive use of vacation club members including the beach front restaurant and bar, covered cabanas and more. The pool was lovely and the kids play area was great for the little ones.

The views from our room were amazing! Sunsets, lightning shows, view of the pools & trees. Beaches were good but got very overpopulated by locals &, as always when in mexico -vendors non stop. We had a few staff members that were great! But with as many staff members running around, no one would pick up empty dishes or trash for days. It was like, if it wasnt in the job description, then they would choose to not see it & not pick it up. Dirty, used dishes & empty beer bottles & cans were left out infront of rooms on the ground for days! All inclusive means drinks & food included. But you had to literally travel to find a bar to get a drink. 2 pool bars & the main lobby bar were the only bars open the majority of the time. So the waits to get served was ridiculous when the entire resort were basically at the 2 pool bars. & the pool bars didnt open until 11am. The pizza bar didnt open until 5, then the pool bars closed at 6. Its like they literally didnt want you to drink. It took 2 days of calling the front desk to restock our mini fridge with 4 beers & 4 sodas. We have stayed at many all inclusive places from cancun to puerta vallarta & 3 just in PV & this was the worst one. Food at the buffet was ok. Saying it was average is a stretch. We had no issues making reservations at the 3 restaurants while there. The food at the resturants were slightly above average. We wouldnt eat at them a 2nd time tho, even if we could. This resort - overall is a disappointment. We've had better

The hotel is fantastic, but I had some inconveniences at check-in and they put some restrictions on my visit because I was not a member of the hotel, and I could only eat in two of their restaurants out of the 5 restaurants.. Access only to common areas which was a pool and sea area, but in the end I enjoyed what I wanted my children to be in the sea thank you

Beautiful resort with a large ocean front room. Staff were wonderful. Wanted more food options and access to take food to room or pool. Lots of pressure sales which I don’t like. Overall it was very nice and we had a wonderful vacation.

An honest review from someone who doesn't usually go to All-Inclusive. We spent over Easter with three kids (7,5,4) and had a blast. The water slides were a huge hit; the beach was very nice, and kids played in the waves and boogie-boarded. The pools were also very nice, and you had choices between the "louder pool" and the calmer one. There were other activities for the kids to do throughout the day, which was nice. The staff was great; I only had positive experiences with all of them. The room was good and did the job. The food was iffy at times. Breakfast was OK with all the staples. The lunch at Labamba was burgers and hotdogs. It was not ideal for parents, but the kids liked it. We were lucky to have dinner most nights at the Ala-cart restaurants, which were perfect. We didn't have food for two nights, and it was not good. There was nothing for kids to eat at seafood night, and sometimes, the food was not edible. We knew this going in. The drinks were great as well, and there was a good selection. Overall, this place is excellent for the price; kids had so much fun, as did adults. If you don't get reservations at the restaurants, consider a short cab to many restaurants around.

This is a good family resort, great beach, nice pools, family friendly activities, and nice rooms. Our ocean facing suite was huge and well appointed. Comfortable beds and big bathroom. Great for spending family away from the pools. Booking system for sit down restaurants was archaic. Reservations began at 8 pm and were done in 3 day blocks. Long wait to reserve. Video notice boards would be useful to update activities and locations. Food is OK. Good variety, items for kids.

Avoid Marival Emotions if you are not a member and if you don’t intend to sit through the 90min “vacation club” presentation. Only feasible option for dining is the buffet. If you expect to book a table at any of the “a la carte” restaurants you need to get in the queue at 8am on Sunday morning and make all your reservations for the week. If you arrive on a Wednesday like we did, you’ll discover that literally *NONE* of the restaurants have any availability for the remainder of the week. It’s ridiculous. Spend your money elsewhere if you aren’t a member. Also - broken electric sockets, front door to apartment is damaged, trash from previous occupant left in room… I could go on. They said it’s their 35th anniversary. I wonder if they’ve made any repairs since 1989…

Great atmosphere and plenty of fun activities to keep entertained. Great place for kids, we brought our 17,15, and 8 year old there and everyone had fun. With the beach, pools, to the adult night club it's fun for all ages. Only negative is the restaurants fill up fast so its hard to get in, and the normal buffet isn't the best food.
