A great stay, I recommend
Pros: - fabulous ambiance, there is a very positive vibes with this hotel (and town), cute colors and decorations. - Breakfast: served on balcony overlooking beautiful mountains, - Staff: very friendly and helpful - location: very good, walkable to central areas, on path to coffee farms - room: clean - View: window overlooking the mountains. Cons: - Room: cold at night, and no heating system. They ran out of blankets, too. - Bed: was uncomfortable, too soft and worn out. Overall a great stay, I recommend.

Good place to stay
Check-in took a long time for some reason. They put us in a family room the first night, then had us move to a couple's room the next two nights. The family room shower water temperature would not get comfortable - it was either scalding hot or freezing cold. We didn't have that issue in the couple's room, however. Breakfast was pretty good. The rooms could be loud as you have to have the windows open for airflow. There is a small gym and a table to relax downstairs. There is also an attached spa that offers massages and other services. This wasn't right in the middle of town like many other hotels, but we were happy with it and didn't feel like it was a problem to walk anywhere in town.

The place is great for 1-2 nights. Everything was perfect except they charge your credit card ahead of time and they may charge the VAT tax to you, which is NOT applicable to foreigners. Always check your final bill and folio! Other than that, I highly recommend staying here. It’s quiet.

Gelungener Aufenthalt mit leckerem Frühstück
Ist ein sehr gut gelegenes, sauberes Hostel. Das Highlight ist das Frühstücksdeck an dem man über ganz Salento schauen kann. In der Nebensaison November war sehr wenig los. Gibt eine Touristeninformation im Hostel. Wie das ganze Dorf auch das Hostel sehr sicher

Fantastic.
Fantastic!! Coffee around the clock. Extremely helpful front desk staff full of advice on Cocora, coffee farms, and more. Can book many tours through this hotel. Hot shower. Delicious fresh breakfast of eggs, toast, fruit, and coffee. Convenient location on the way to coffee farms. Just great all around. Even near a cemetery and picturesque yellow bridge. I loved everything about this place.

La Floresta SALENTO
Hostal La floresta is a beautiful property and I really liked the location central but bit outside .Lovely coffee is available all day long and I used laundry service which was great and boots rental .One of the receptionists quite young girl was so helpful with tips and directions ans she also spoke basic English .She was really great .The only thing that I didnt like is that La Floresta is building another floor on top of the building and there was noise and workers all day long so the outside area could not be enjoyed .When I booked this property there should have been advised that propery is under renovation .
