We booked this hotel for our honeymoon. My partner reached out to the hotel to ask if they were able to accommodate anything due to this lifetime event. Perhaps the room we received was an upgrade, but it was not obvious. The hotel is separated into two areas, which seems like 2 hotels that are merging to be one.
We were allowed to check in early and getting through the front door without an access code was easy.
Our bed frame under our bed was too short for the bed so anytime weight was placed at the end of the bed, it would create an uneven balance. There was a giant pillar to the right of our bed, making accessibility into the right side hard.
The wifi was not great and we had to email to get the password for another wifi option as the first wasn’t even accessible in our room - the second was hit and miss.
The staff are very responsive, although perhaps not the best at resolving issues. We didn’t realize our room would only be cleaned once throughout our stay, after emailing, we discovered this but the manager offered to clean for us as an exception one more time. The cleaner dropped towels on our bed and left.
The first clean the cleaner did not remove our used cups.
The breakfast has a good selection - it seemed hit and miss for what food would be there. Some mornings bacon and sausages were readily available, and others, at various times, were not there. Renovations are currently ongoing which caused issues for having the toaster plugged in and accessible.
