I would like to share my unfortunate experience with a hotel that I believe operates in a highly unprofessional manner. I booked a hotel stay for three business suites, and after a long 36-hour journey from the USA with my family of six, we arrived at the hotel only to be told that our rooms had already been given to someone else. We were made to wait in the lobby for three to four hours, and ultimately, we were informed that we would not be accommodated and had to leave.
This experience forced us to search for another hotel, incurring additional expenses for our stay. It seems that this hotel is engaged in a practice of booking the same rooms for multiple parties and then giving the rooms to whoever pays the most. The manager on duty and the front desk staff exemplified deceit and unprofessionalism. They refused to refund any of my money, which amounts to over one million PKR.
Since that day, I have sent multiple messages to the management, including the hotel owner, via email, but my concerns have fallen on deaf ears. It appears that they are complicit in this scheme. I was not the only one affected; several other guests, including a newly married couple in their wedding attire, faced similar situations, only to find out that their rooms had also been given to someone else. It was only after a "hotshot" called the administration that some rooms became available.
