We generally don't stay at Ginger and not used to such hospitality standard.
Due to less than 20hrs stay in the city and other strategic benefits due to the location, we booked this property. While check-in, the reception guy was extremely rude and inefficient. Absolutely unfit for any hospitality job. Somehow we finished the check-in but bitterness still persists.

Good stay and convenient location
Being on highway side room it was bit noisy. Upstairs room had some preperation being done which disturbed sleep, Friendly, good staff and good food. I left my items which maintenance staff is unable to trace even if I called up within 2days of check out. Could improve on shower room and quality soap products.

Poor Property
Hotel is well located and has very good transport links. It is only 20 minutes’ walk from Iskon temple. Has good restaurants nearby which provides Gujarati thali. The rooms are large and spacious, Bed is comfortable.
It lacks cleanliness. Bathroom washbasin platform was full of dust and we were required to clean. Every time we were required to ask for 2nd Cup for tea and another towel as room service were keeping only one cup and towel. They never kept hand towel without asking. Room service provided only lemon flavoured teabag which is very odd for morning. On asking they said they have only this tea. We can talk to management. Worst part is window. Window glass was full of dust and below there was a platform which is filled with filth. So no use of window.
Breakfast has very limited spread (Least spread I found in 4 hotels I leaved in Ahmedabad in Year 2017). Service was very poor. Only I found is staff is polite. Upama was too sweet to eat, juices were watery, Idly lacked softness. There is no live counter and it took long time for getting things from kitchen.
It seems there is lack of supervision. These small things make good hotel and this is reason for poor ranking. I will not like to return to this hotel.

Over all it is poor property
I stayed 3 nights in this hotel in Ahmadabad. The location is good, a bit away from traffic, close to restaurants and ATM. The rooms are big enough. AC works properly, water is provided, furniture and bed sheets are cleaned and the staffs are friendly. This is basic things for a hotel important. Hotel comfort is decided based on service and attitude.
Front desk has very young inexperienced staff so they take time in even finding out your name from booking list available Big minus point is breakfast, spread is limited compared to other hotels I stayed in Ahmedabad. Juices are too watery and Upama is too sweet. Staffs are polite but take long time to serve. Every time we have to ask for another towel and hand towel. Tea bag being provided is with lemon flavour and they have only this variety. Curtain is bit short in bathroom that makes it wet. We found lot of dust t on the wash basin platform as well as on hangers in cupboard. This talks about cleanliness.
It seems there is lack of supervision. I will not return to this hotel

A hotel with filthy rooms but great potential.
Room size, room furniture, bathroom fittings were suitable enough for a good four star hotel. BUT room service was inefficient - "Indian" mentality, mop moved over floor without making the floor clean. Owners need to spend a few days in a five star hotel to learn how a room toilet wash basin taps are made spotlessly clean.
Whilst there the hotel lobby area was undergoing some repairs changes. May be when completed and staff retrained to do their jobs to perfection, the hotel will justify its present 3 star status.

Decent Stay
Other than the fact that the hotel facilities are getting dilapidated with age, there is no other drawback.
