Nice quait keys motel.
Good location. Close to downtown. Heated pool was nice. Need to ask for housekeeping if you want cleaning service. Otherwise quiet and good parking for older motel.

Good bargain
We were out enjoying the weather, however the room was okay. Little small. Could have used another side table for the other side of the bed. Maybe a dresser/closet. We didn’t have any place to put our clothes. We did like the bar, they had good drinks. The cafe/deli across the street was nice and it was nice to be away from Duval street. Very quiet and we liked our little patio. The pass to the beach was nice too. We would stay here again.

Nice place, nice staff
Comfy motel a block away from the quieter end of Duval St, less than a mile from the busy end. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and near the Southernmost point buoy. Nice bed and has lawn chairs out front. Fridge, sink and microwave in room. Resort fee allows us on to a nice beach with beach chairs and towels a few minutes walk away. Pool onsite but a bit chilly in winter. Super staff giving suggestions, reservation help and some discount cards. Special thanks to Erin and Neilam. Highly recommend.

Check in was ok. Location was ok. Rooms were small, air conditioning when on and off; kept us awake. Toilet continued to run water due to leaky flapper. Sheets were very rough.

Nice Winter Get-Away
Southwinds is an old beach motel located near the beach and the Southernmost Point. It's away from all the hustle of Duval Street but still a close walk to get to restaurants and bars. If you are looking for the Hilton, this isn't your place to stay, it's clean but not fancy. It could use some updating, beds are of average comfort, pillows are just okay, continental breakfast was adequate. The pools are nice, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was convenient to have a liquor store and bar on premise. Free parking. We would stay there again.

Love Southwinds
The staff was most friendly and courteous. They made some eating recommendations that were spot on. Quiana and Karen were so cordial upon our arrival and departure. Will definitely recommend Southwinds to family and friends who plan a trip down.

Great location!
Super good location - close to beach, restaurants, shops. Heated (but very small) pool (+ one which was not heated). OK complementary breakfast (coffee, juice, muffins, cereals, egg etc). Very quite area Good free parking Good WiFi A small bar on the premises with live music Silent aircon Free sunchairs/towels at the beach I would stay here again. :-)

Great location, clean, but small and outdated.
This is a no frills, clean motel, with free parking, in a good location. We did not take advantage of the included breakfast, we had forgotten about it. We also didn’t use either of the pools. The room was clean but a bit outdated and small. The bathroom was also very small. There was a mini fridge, a microwave, air conditioning, and ample parking. The desk service employee was friendly. This motel is located within close walking distance to Duval Street, the Southernmost Buoy, and a lot of other amenities.

Good central motel with free parking
Good motel, with central Key West within walking distance. Just a few blocks away from the Southernmost Point. Free parking was a big plus, the grab-and-go breakfast was OK, but not much more.

Stay 9 night I didn't like my room because was behind the fence I did ask For another room they say no They could not move me to the other room. . And then 2 days later I went to the office and I asked again. Nice lady, Karen. Move us to the other room I really appreciate thank you. I am coming to this hotel for 20 years. Breakfast is getting worse No bagels , and I miss muffins. What happened with the muffins from the local bakery?Thank you Karen and Quiana
