Customer service can ruin a hotel
The hotel is being closed soon for refurb - it does need it. Reception team are awful, barely speak English and if it’s less than 90% english speaking guests I’d be suprised. Got ripped off on leaving - having been told I had resort credit, and this was a credit to my bill, on check out they refused and then reception blamed another team. They don’t get that they are the hotel and I am the customer…... Frankly it was caused by a communication issue, but really sad in how it was managed. I would never go to another of their hotels now after the way we were spoken too….. Pool team great / service by pool great Food was very average… but it’s all inclusive so not a major surprise. Asian restaurant was only place with good service and good food.

They talk fast with a thick accent to trick you.
Overall the stay wasn’t bad. But there are a few things you should know before booking. MI wouldn’t book here again. 1. The staff was pretty friendly, you get greeted with champagne and a cold towel. They take your luggage to your room and that’s super nice. 2. When going into the room it was “clean” upon looking further there was food stuck places, stuff was not wiped down properly the sink had hair in it and stains on the wall. I sanitize my hotel rooms anyways… but keep it in mind. Bring some cleaning supplies if you want to feel more comfortable. 3. The food… it’s mediocre at best. The Italian restaurant sucks. The room service sucks even worse with VERY FEW OPTIONS. The dress code is freaking ridiculous when you’re literally in a outside seating by a pool… but they will send you back in the middle of the day if you aren’t wearing a shirt with sleeves (it’s 92 degrees most of the time and 90% humidity and again these restaurants are by the pool) ridiculous. The coco cafe is good! The little iced coffees they had were so good in the morning. They will pour your drink strong with top shelf but you have to ask for a double and you have to specify your liquor. Also there is no hard alcohol in the mini fridge. The buffet and Mexican restaurant were very good. 5. Lastly the resort “coupons” or vouchers or whatever the heck they are. Are very mis- leading. And when confronted about the hidden fees the concierge was so rude. And pretty much threatened us. Just beware.

Restaurants staff are horrible and more if they notice that you are hispanic. The only good attention is the pool staff and pool entertainment.

Excellent staff and excellent customer service, I have never been treated that well at a stay on vacation! Dining options were great, the bartenders made every drink to perfection and I never had to wait on a drink. Pool area was always clean, I would like to see the pool stay open past 8pm and the swim up bar should be accessible while still in the pool. Other than those two things I have no complaints

Wife and I stayed 6 nights. Property is a bit dated. Food was just average. Preferred Club lounge staff wasn’t very accommodating. Room was suppose to come with beach bag. Didn’t receive one till the last evening there after 5 visits to lounge letting girls know. The beach and water was by far the best thing we liked the most. Grill by main pool was pretty good and the buffet was okay. Oceana for preferred club was terrible. Overall rating is a 6/10 and that’s just because of the beach and water

The staff here is just amazing!! We didn’t have to worry about anything. They were friendly and always made sure we were taken care of. Their recommendations were so helpful… we ate at the restaurants they suggested and did many of the activities. Travel was always there for us.. amazing experience cannot wait to come back!
