We had a great room with its own internet connected computer and king sized bed. Really was a nice room, but we couldn't figure out why the shower water seemed to exit the shower booth into the bathroom, although it just later drained. Paid for the included breakfast - if you like Chinese style breakfasts, this was an awesome buffet style breakfast, many simple options, my non-Chinese husband also enjoyed it. Short walk to the shuttle to go up the mountain. A map of the mountain is provided upon check-in so you don't have to buy one in advance. There is also an attached convenience store to pick up supplies like bottles of water that are expensive on the mountain. If you're hiking up the mountain, get there early - the wait for the cable car around 9 AM was 2 hours long! We did an up and down same day trip (rather than staying on the mountain), so it is definitely doable but rather tiring. Oh, and Tunxi is a tourist bus filled town, but the hotel isn't literally in a parking lot, actually quite peaceful. We missed the bus to Hongcun and just talked to some cabbies at the intersection who linked us up to a cab van pool.
