Not good
Not great . For a 4 star Iberostar we were perhaps expecting basic cleanliness and hygiene and decent service . To begin within 2 rounds back to reception because the key cards weren’t working . Apparently the battery in the lock needed charging . These things happen but they could have sent someone to sort this rather than expecting the customer to make the long trip ( our too. Was 300m from reception) . The towels had holes in them and needed replacing . No room service for food . It was 1/2 board and the food was the model of ‘rinse and repeat’ . We are conscious about being vegetarians in an African country where meat is popular but there’s no labelling of food . Their understanding of vegetarian is when fish and meat dishes have vegetables in them ! We paid extra for a sea view room and there’s only so much you can enjoy on an empty stomach . It left us with a bad taste in our mouth ( or perhaps I should say no taste ) . We ended up eating all our meals outside where there’s great options ( in Yasmine Hammamet medina and OGGI )
