very good hotel in old town, great breakfast
i didn't realize that i didn't take the right taxi to the airport until i sat inside. it was too late to change it. However, the taxi driver charged me EUR20 From viru taxi stop to the airport (by meter, but extremely higher price, started at 4.8EUR and 3.2 EUR per km). When I arrived Tallin, I took the advise from hotel reception ((White Tulika taxi or yellow Tallink taxi are the safest ones) ) , the taxi fare was EUR7.8 Be careful to have same mistake I took and be cheated!!

Ihana hotelli, nostalginen ja kotoisa tunnelma. Paljon portaita, ei sovi liikuntarajoitteisille. Hyvä sänky ja ihana henkilökunta. Viinikaappi plussaa. Hiljainen ja rauhallinen hotelli, yöelämän äänet eivät kuuluneet ollenkaan hotellihuoneeseen. Ystävällinen vastaanotto respassa ja kiva yllätys huoneeseen. Huoneessa ilmaiset vesijuomapullot x2 ja tee/kahvintekomahdollisuus.

Ett bra boende mitt i Tallinn
Mycket fint och lyxigt hotell mitt i centrala Tallinn (och gamla stan). Rummet var vackert och bekvämt. Badrummet hade mycket yta och golvvärme! Det var en stark doft i trapphuset som kan vara stark för dig som är känslig mot dofter. En enkel men god frukost ingick i priset.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous. We are a family traveling and this is a perfect spot. Hotel itself has so much character and unique architectural features. The staff were so pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast was delightful and location is perfect to walk Old Town. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Only catch- be aware there are some stairs and if mobility is an issue, let front desk know so they can assist you.

Not like in the photos
Nice enough, but our room (number 1) was not at all like in the pictures. Somewhat run down and drafty, the bathroom was just simple white tile that has seen better days. The restaurant was very nice, but it was booked out the first night. When we checked in they told us about a 10 % discount at the restaurant if you stay at the hotel but they didn't warn us that we'd need to reserve early. Breakfast was okay. The woman working there was wearing a t-shirt saying "There's a 99 % chance that I don't care" and that kind of sums it up.

The CRU hotel is truly unique. With no elevator and plenty of stairs, I wouldn’t recommend it for those seeking a fully accessible hotel or those who travel with heavy/large luggage. The multi-hallway journey to our room was really interesting and created a fairy tale feeling 😀. Being an older hotel the walls are quite thin. The location in Old Town is great for exploring the area within walking distance.

Ein altes und schönes Hotel zentral in der Altstadt gelegen. Das Alte hat Charme und Charakter, ist innen, z B. das Bad, modern und topfit. Qualitativ gutes Frühstück, alles begleitet von freundlichem und hilfsbereiten Personal. Gäste der "Suite" sollten allerdings gewarnt sein: der gegenüber liegende Club lässt mit harten Beats bis 0.00 Uhr und länger die eigene Bettdecke schwingen.
