1. We arrived at night. There was a thin quilt on the bed, but extra cover wouldn't be available until the next day.
2. I requested two rooms. I was in one room and my son was to sleep in the next room in what I thought was a two-bedroom apartment. But it turned out that we had been given rooms nine floors apart in a high-rise apartment building and key cards could be used to access only the floors we stayed on, so we didn't have access to each other. When I asked about changing rooms, I was told that was not possible. The young man who checked us in was probably a college student, and he had no control over what was happening.
3. The bathroom was stained with mold.
4. My electricity went out during the night. I woke up because my CPAP breathing machine stopped working. The electricity came back on several hours later, but I had lost much of the night's sleep.
5. Because of the situation, I asked for a refund for the rest of the stay but was told that would not be possible. We ended up leaving anyway but I was not able to get a refund.
I reserved the rooms because of the location and I was pleased with the price. I have travelled a lot over the years and have stayed at many basic places, but I was disappointed in this location.
