We appreciated the spacious room and friendliness of staff. The bed was a little too soft for us so didn’t sleep as well as expected. The food options were excellent, fresh and tasty. Loved the pool area!

Great staff. Great rooms. Great service. Only complaint is that the one vent in the room would constantly drip with condensation I guess from the cooling system. So there was just consistently a puddle on one small square of the kitchen at all times. But I believe they were actively working on fixing the A/C systems in the building during the time so no reason to rate less than 5 stars for that. Still was an amazing room and we loved our stay in PR even more because of it.

Stay here: you won’t regret it
The Hi Bird was lovely — a perfect hotel for a short romantic trip at the tail end of a tropical storm. My partner and I got to the Hi Bird on the last day of a tropical storm so we couldn’t use some amenities like the pool or the lobby juice bar etc. We were able to park in the lot and let me just warn future travelers about the size of the lot: tiny tiny! It was great to know we had a space, although it took some coaching to get our bigger rental vehicle in a spot every day. The lobby, pool area, and room were beautiful! The decor was beautiful and fun. It was nice to have a separate sleep space from living and dining space during this trip. Internet was good/not spotty. The hotel staff were great! Beach access was also great. We had access to loungers and umbrellas which we took full advantage of. Easy walk to the nearest CVS and plenty more within a short short walk. Would definitely stay here again!

The HiBird hotel is an excellent place to stay. Apartment style rooms with hotel amenities/accommodations. Very clean and the staff is excellent especially Hector. He knows the area very well and gave great recommendations and was always pleasant and helpful. There is a lot of construction in the area but you can’t hear it when you’re in your apartment. They also have an awesome restaurant in the lobby called Pure which is excellent!! I highly recommend the HiBird.

This was a really difficult hotel to rate. We arrived just after Tropical Storm Ernesto. Parts of the hotel smelled like mildew. One of our bathrooms reaked of sulfur. We had to remind the front desk several times about cleaning our room. At times towels were dirty. The decor was nice, the coffee shop was lovely. However, the pool area wasn’t cleaned on one occasion- there were over a dozen towels thrown all over a table that no one picked up. The staff was cordial - Hector was the best! For what we spent, I expected a lot more.

Probably the favourite place I stayed in while in Puerto Rico. High standard accommdation with excellent customer service. The outdoor pool was a great place to unwind and relax in. The bed super comfortable - I don’t think I’ve slept that good in ages!

The hotel was beautiful! The receptionist was so so helpful. They helped us with everything from late night check in to check out. It was a great considering we were super burnt out and frustrated from our canceled flight. We will definitely be returning!
